Thanks Speci for your Amethyst Steel list, I got 2nd place in set champs with it and won an Ursula and playmat. Beat Bucky in the quarter finals, fun and powerful deck in the meta!
I agree.. for both videos and your opponents.. having all ink in one stack is the worst. Do it like your opponent does.. so its easily counted by everyone
@@lukejones1859 I am planning to play your list tomorrow on a set champs. The only difference being 3 maleficients instead of brooms/pascal. I am used to play with 10 one drops (4,3,3), and 3 babooms/cannons. What 's the thought behind skipping the cheaper 2 direct damage?
@@joshandali13cannons isn’t inkable and I like a very low ink count as I’m on 10 1 drop maleficent has the same issue and it’s really bad into steel however it’s great into RP, smash over boom cause it’s hits most targets in the game rather than just Diablo smash hits all Merlin hits green (even in cove) hits Ariel and more. However there is an argument for 3 smash and 2 baboom
@@lukejones1859 the 3 cannons are then the extra Zeus and 2 Grab your swords. I didn't play grab your swords as I only have few singers for it, though with 4 chien pos and 4 tinks, I can see it working. 4 zeus and 2 grabs can definitely clog the hand though, maybe going down to 10 uninks is worth more than the 2 questing power 🤔. Thanks for the pointers!
3:00 It's such a bad move to play mim snake early vs control deck. The only use is to bounce a card or counter aggro deck. (Flynn if there is no other option). But vs Ruby Ame it's a waste of T2
In the 3rd game, I think the losing play is inking friends instead of Goat. Overall it seems like you undervalued drawing too much in this matchup. Ruby Amethyst is actually favored in this one as long as you can keep pace in the drawing and control the game early.
Ruby Amethyst is most certainly not favoured in this match up. Both my opponent & I agreed its a good match up for amethyst steel & I played ALOT of Amethyst Steel & I would say its the decks best matchup. It is still not a huge advantage but probably around 60-65% favoured in my experience. More so with Lawerence & Chien Po I can defintely agree regarding the ink decision however. The big misplay i think was Be King on the Rabbit as then Chien Po was an immovable object
@@SpeciLorcana Agree to disagree then! I'm not sure what list you were on exactly so hard to judge for your specific case, but in general RA has better character removal, better Castle removal, and can match the drawing of Amethyst Steel. Amethyst-Steel has better loring capacity but if the RA player is able to not get the board state get to crazy in the early-mid game, it's not a problem. Lawrence & Chien Po do make it harder, but as you mentioned knowing when and on who to use Be King is key.
@@SpeciLorcana They're my two main decks since the beginning of Chapter 2, and I have also played a lot of games from both sides. Still think RA has the advantage, even though it's a really close one. I agree it's a high skill ceiling match though, similar (if not higher) than the mirrors for both ink combinations :)
It was a great run man. I enjoyed watching very much, thanks a lot!

Hey Specimen, lost you after you left gwent. Pleasant surprise to find you once more having finally found this game.
That is awesome, great to have you back
Thank you Speci for your Amethyst Steel list! I got 3th and grab the ursula + 1/2 box where i find an enchanted card! Cheers
I can not find lukes deck in the discord? Can someone link a dreamborn decklist pls?
Did you see those shuffling skills before game one? This is gonna be tough for speci!

where i can find that amethyst steel deck ??
@@adamzx6225 also wondering D:
I have a newfound appreciation for how poised you are during play. The fidgeting was strong in this one. 😣
What tier would you put amethyst/steel after bucky nerf?
Good games. What channel are the decklists in?
@Johnny-bg2xx he has the dreamborn link to the deck list in the first video on the tournament it is the one with flynn rider on the thumbnail
Now with Luke’s deck, I know you would cut the pascals for broom or maleficent. But are the crabs needed?
Crab is great into rp to help deal with castles and and also good into blue for tamatoas 1-2 crab is good enough tho
After speci and I spoke I changed the 3 pascal for 3 brooms as well
