Laminating with white is suuuuper tough - maybe the hardest color to laminate with as it can take over in an instant, especially when its saturated like that (and against a transparent watermelon to boot!). Keep at it man!

Do you have any pointers for me? I'm still not as good of a bait maker as you are.

@@MountainBaitsOutdoors ah, we’re all learning my friend! That’s what keeps the craft exciting and fresh! For tips: Shoot at low as you can get away with - 320 is a good benchmark, I’ll go lower if I can. That will reduce the blending. If you’re dead set on a white belly, mix again but only use 3-5 drops in a cup… white pigment is WICKED strong so you don’t need much. The injection should be smooth and slow, especially with ribbed baits, and the special sprue in the 1.7 needs time to “turn” the pigments, shooting it too fast will likely blow it out.
      Hope that helps man!

What are your temps? Try shooting around 315*

The white is also very opaque and will eat up the translucent watermelon
