Video is meant to be informational but I'm sure there are many things I didn't think about so feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer.
3 months late but I did want to make a comment about this for anyone currently working on the quest and seeing this video. When you get to the part of the quest that requires for you to find a healer, you can que into the new Follower dungeons as a DPS, and then take off all of your gear and use it. The axe will drain HP based on your total HP% and as a result, the follower healer will just heal you to full the whole time. Very easy way to now do that quest.
I'm working on this quest line right now. For the Attuned Glowspore Grip, Follower Dungeons make the Healing portion a helluva lot easier, if not soloable for most classes. Just queue up for the dungeon and let the healer take care of you. It is not, however, totally foolproof so for classes with something Shield of Vengeance or Divine Shield, those are still useful. For the Attuned Sophic Vellum, going to the Proving Grounds in Pandaria speeds it up quite a bit. Starting a Proving with Master Rotun will reset the cooldown on the Sophic Vellum item so you can basically spam it instead of waiting the 5 minutes.
I got the Fyr'alath the Dreamrender weapon on my ret paly last week. I must say, I am impressed with the increase damage. On raid bosses the weapon damage is about 8.5 to 11% of my DPS, and in keys about 8.8 to 10% damage increase. Maybe that is what Bliz was thinking when only giving 3% buff? I can see their point; however, very few people have the weapon, and if they don't raid, it's very rare they will get the weapon. However, I HATED THE QUEST CHAIN. OMG, it was way too much. Of course, my son snapped at me saying "IT'S A LEGENDARY, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?" I guess to a certain point I agree with him. lol
Hello dude congrats! I really like playing paladin but we do a lot of raids in my guild and even If I play perfectly, Im close to the bottom. Underperforming really just makes me not wanting to play but I can't find that spark in other specs. Should I switch?
i found a trick (sandly on last 2) Superbloom . you must join a full raid to done asap event and when you kill and loot last boss leave raid group instant maybe in your server last boss is still up and you can kill him and loot it again.
Grats! How many greater essences and lesser essences did you accumulate total? Prob didn't keep track but rough estimate. Trying to gauge different people that got it this week, I have started seeing a lot more now.
I got it on Xmas and the awakened part for the vellum costed me roughly 25-35k alone cause I’ve been getting Air and they cost 300g each. The rest of the mats costed me 300k
Thanks for the heads up. Now I can stop trying to get it, because this sounds to be a massive hassle, and I'm sure I will loose interest half way through. 😊
Damn, warriors and paladins can apply the marks with one button to all targets around them while i have to put death and decay then cleave different targets only to apply to 7-8 targets before pack starts to die even in a 20. Never gonna pop the weap on 50 stacks even if there were 50 enemies
Legendary sounds cool but the way they went about it after u get it is bad imo. It would be a lot better if they just had a badass legendary quest line that u had to do with a cool cutscene after and just call it a day. Instead of this boring time/gold farm
Rotationally just do it where it makes sense. In M+ I use it similar to a trinket use. In raid I use it differently depending on boss. On Smolderon I used it to jump back to him in intermission phase for example. IDEALLY you want to use it at the end of your wings because it benefits from critical strike chance.
@@LordoftheWarcraft does our crit proc more when wings are expired? cause if not the marks hit the target with BoJ and HoR, then i use axe, followed by normal rotation
Heres what you do. Because you get a 10% DMG increase you do reg opener final reck wings divine toll and about 6 seconds before your CDs are upp you send the on use (after getting all your expurg/fyrlath dot up) then you send the on use and then use your CDs.
One question about drop that weapon.If i kill fyrak at HC i need still kill him on normal and LFR on same ID ?For chance to drop ? OR just every ID HC kill enough ?
Im finishing the chain right now, i'm at using the item 20 times to get the 100% i don't know what, i started at 00:30 AM and i'm still at 8:03 in the morning doing it, superblooms took a while, like to 6 am. For the 50 item of emerald dream rares i took advantage of the hibernation heroes (World boss quest) to phase to other realms and search for them. Then for craft, any person who gets the profession doesn't matter if he's new on it, he can craft you that, so you can save money not paying for tips if you have a friend.
blizzard and their bs it does drop on lfr i've seen it but i have 3 melee toons and have done that raid since it dropped and nothing. as always i get this stuff two expansions later. 3 toons can use this and the drop rate for normal folks is to damn low. we don't all run in 1000 people guilds.and then you can't just earn it there is another bs line you have to do to get the axe. blizzard needs to knock that garbage off.
Hey congratulations question though why wouldn’t you show the breakdown from your mythic plus run to see what kind of damage it does over an entire run? I was really hoping to see that. Also how the hell do you play with those numbers all over your screen that looks absolutely ridiculous lol.

Dropped for me from lfr 2 days ago. Completely unexpected.
For the enchanting portion, you can Item Restore any eligible items and use them.
Or just buy the head/hands with drogan isle supplies from the quatermaster vendor in emerald dream, central camp.
I was able to get it to drop this week still grinding out the quest!

For the enchanting part you can use some of the junk you get in M+.

I made a superbloom group finished it then phased back into another not finished superbloom. Happend like 6 times
I got it last night done most of quests got most of the mats will get them tomorrow should have it tomorrow

Do you have a WA to track the stacks? And would it work if we popped it for the last 3 seconds of ES?
for me it did not work on rares outside ED, I had to swirl around emerald dream waiting for rares to spawn.

Got it last week on my Ret, The USE is useless, the Proc on divine storm is super nice. Didn't really notice much dps icrease on Single Target though

On-use scales with crit and versa so it’d be higher dmg when crit buff from wings is up but 3 sec selfstun might make it not worth it
if you kill on heroic weekly it can't drop on lfr or normal, has that been confirmed?

Overall damge increase from wings (20%) and crit boost(20%) *should* apply to the dots and on use effect, but I dont have the axe to test it myself.

No. If you kill on Heroic you get the extra % drop chance from normal and lfr with the heroic kill.

Killed it 8 times on both Heroic and Normal.. no axe yet, This weapon is ust a gimmick to make you play more by blizz..
