This was one of the college campus attacks.

You can actually quantify how many successes they have by looking at their numbers. They only have 3 or 4 albums since their debut, whereas Twice has much more. That means they get more recognition being their numbers are literally double, even more. If all their material were only average or just passable yeah it wouldn't really matter, but a lot of them are really good songs, and this is coming from an unbiased person (I don't listen to kpop and only judge songs based on it's creativity and originality, and twice's songs are really good, like I'd want to listen to more of it). So Twice has more music people can listen to. Also they're still releasing new stuff until now, their japanese members just made a side album, their oldest member already released her own, their leader about to release hers soon, and after their current tour more songs coming next year, they don't stop working and keep putting out quality songs. Not just with their numbers, but the kind of material they put out are different from most groups. They don't stick to one sound and expand their genre, they have the traditional k-pop sound (cutesy and colorful), slow and sensual, fast and upbeat, they also started releasing stuff with a more mature sound (more sexy). What I noticed with black pink is they only have one sound (hip hop or rnb). I went through their most popular songs, felt like they were all the same tbh, like they'r different songs but they all have the same vibe. It feels like i'm listening to popular american music with rap, like I'm listening to someone like nicki minaj or rihanna. It's not distinct from famous songs right now. And from what i've read, Twice also has more awards won compared to blackpink, don't know the exact numbers but I know they win more often. Not just that but they also have the title of the "Nation's Girl Group" in their country. They're more recognized in korea and throughout asia especially japan. Blackpink is more famous in the U.S., that's cause when they started they gave a more western sound that appeals to americans, which is how their popularity skyrocketed. That and with them being more fluent in english, it was easier for them to reach more people. But in terms of their music, their sound is really the same as other groups, in my opinion. So yes blackpink is "bigger" they'r always gonna be, they're the most famous girl group and they have more fans (because of the last reason I pointed out). But for me and a lot of people, Twice's accomplishments mean more.
