Revisited this video recently. I think what Susanah said about the Visa process is very pertinent. All that studying for the NY Bar and hardship of securing a job in a foreign firm simply to have your name rejected in the H1B visa lottery seems like such a waste, and frankly terrifying. Just goes to show that until US immigration laws are liberalised, there is no guarantee of employment over there for Indian lawyers, regardless of qualifications. Perhaps the only rational and realisable motivation for a US LLM, against this backdrop, should be a purely academic one.
I am current doing my 5 year BALLB program in India and right now I am in second sem. Which subject as my honors (for e.g. International law) can help me to practice in an US based company right after my degree.
Hello, you know more and more about me through these videos, whatever happened to me in India, I want to tell you people and I want help from you people to end the terrorism of these people.
The most honest and genuine session on this topic ever. Thankyou to letter of law for this gem. 🎉
