Welcome and settle in. Definitely one of the most elegant voices of this generation and really has feeling when she sings without belting to hit the climax.
Her albums progressively show maturation and growth both lyrically and musically to the point that "Baby, I'm a Fool", as beautiful as it is, becomes less and less of a standout track.

Again and again I come back to this beautiful song, as her voice caresses my soul.
I first heard Melody Gardot (performing “Mira”) aboard an AirFrance flight leaving Paris for New York following a romantic Christmas week in the city. I couldn’t get over her voice, and am taken by the soft, gentle profile of her rich tone and lush arrangements. Who’s to guess she isn’t French (with a surname like Gardot and that “French” voice), but American like me. I think I’m in love. Thank you, cher Melody. You’re an inspiration!

Her voice sounds so gentle and beautiful. It's so soothing. Typically I don't listen to this genre of music but her voice is just so beautiful.

Magical voice, I recently discovered Melody Gardot's music🙏🙏🙏🙏
At the age of 19, Gardot was involved in a bicycle accident and sustained a head injury. Her pelvis was shattered and she suffered severe head and spine injuries which left her unable to walk for two years. It's why the shades stay on - light hurts her eyes - and why she walks with the cane that has become part of her look on stage, performing as a jazz singer. Music played a critical role in her recovery.

I just heard this on the radio, and was completely enchanted by her voice. I had to look her up, make sure I got the spelling right. I need to find more of her work - that voice is absolutely timeless. It's possibly the most beautiful voice I've ever heard in my life. It's in the genre of Judy Garland and Julie Andrews, but I dare say it's better. Melody's voice has a spirit to it which elevates the tone and tugs at the heart strings.

As someone else said, usually I'm not a heavy consumer of this style of music, but there's magic in her voice, in the neo-retro video and in her amazing story of recovery and transcendence. If I hear nothing else from this artist (although I'm about to go searching), I am absolutely satisfied. This is stone cold wonderful! Thank you, Melody, you've made my evening.

There are times I listen to this song over and over, listening heals the pain in my heart, because we have to be be fools to fall in love, yet we do. Her voice is so smooth and always seems to evoke that feeling of sleepy laziness with your significant other in the early morning when you contemplate sleeping in, snuggling, or just tumbling in the sheets.
