- This aims at describing the personality of cancer moon natives.

You amaze me with your insight of the Cancer moon energy. This was unlike anything I have heard or watched on Cancer moon. I have a dislike for the word "moody" because it brings to mind someone who is erratically being out of control emotionally from moment to moment. :) I don't think that is Cancer moon. But I will say this there are times like you said when there are very lows and very highs but I am very aware when it is happening and its more like being at sea with the waves of the water. This is the only way I know to describe it . Sometimes the waters are clam. Then there are times internally the waves take you. To me it is like (if you can imagine with me) the ocean is your bed and you are completely surrounded by it , it is vast and endlessly deep and what ever it does you have to go with it . If you resist and flail around desperately you will drown from sheer exhaustion. One must learn how to relax and float with this energy and not panic when you are being taken to the low point as the waves engulf you and learn how to trust this energy no matter how painful it maybe or hard to understand . I say painful and hard to understand because I think for most "water people" especially with Cancer Moon this is hitting you at times overwhelmingly from all sides and some people with Cancer Moon and the people around them may not know what is happening to them or why they feel like they feel. We feel and "ABSORB" the emotions of others like you said ...their anxiety, their fear, their hate, their oppression, their brokenness, their insecurities, their instability, their aggression, their pureness of heart , their innocence, their aura of kindness, all their intentions and hidden agendas, their damage, their light, their darkness etc.. This is what we see, absorb, and feel not even meeting someone formally but with just passing encounters. Consciously and subconsciously this is happening to us everyday. Imagine walking into a crowd and having this come at you from all directions. This is why we have a deep need for security, this is why we cling to the ones we love, this is why we have a need to nest, this is why we can be very nurturing, but it can be also why we have a hard shell at times. We are powerfully aware whether it be consciously or subconsciously ( subconsciously meaning SOUL level i.e. your mind might be clueless but your soul knows) of all this in others and we actually feel it .So naturally we want to heal and nurture. We want to heal and take care of everyone around us. Kind of like a mother having to watch her child go through illness. We want to do something to help from a very deep heart felt place . We want to bring comfort to those we love . We want to fix and make it all better because of our deep understanding of the individual's pains and the brokenness of the world that surrounds us. I am not an astrologer like yourself I am a student of it and have much to learn. Perhaps not every Cancer Moon person is supper sensitive and maybe there are some "moody" ones. :) lol There are so many factors involved as you quite know. I feel this maybe more from my truth as Cancer Moon but with myself as told you my chart is full of water and I have placements in all the water sings and many , many aspects going back and forth. Ascendant in Scorpio conjunct Neptune in 12th house in Scorpio separated by 1degree. Lilith, Chiron, and Saturn in Pisces in 4th house. Saturn trine Neptune and Ascendant. I have Mercury, Pluto and Uranus in Virgo 10th house all conjunct sextile Neptune/Ascendant. Cancer Moon trine Scorpio Ascendant. These only scratch the surface of how water just connects my whole chart . I can't even get into my Venus and Mars in Scorpio conjunct Neptune and Ascendant and their aspects by looking at what I've told you you can imagine. I have almost all Asteroids in water and it goes on and on. If you can't guess by now I'm an artist/ musician/ composer. lol My Art and Music have a lot to do with healing people. We also do have some clashes coming from this square (more than from our Sun square) and i can see how an Aries Moon might hurt a Cancer Moon ( mostly out of ignorance). We are lucky nevertheless that we have the exact opposite going on with our Suns. I am a Pisces and he is a Sagittarius so this is exactly the opposite balance that we need to keep this going. To Future Don't be so hard on yourself.I am also an Aquarius with Cancer Moon so you can understand how difficult it is for me to understand the overwhelming feelings I have.Yes, we are givers and nurturers.Most people see it as weakness and take advantage of it but you should not feel down.Sometimes they feel we are manipulating them to get something out of them.They do not always see our goodness because they feel we are manipulators. A Cancer Moon's destiny and duty is to give and nurture so do not let others take away your good quality.Just learn to close yourself when you meet someone you don't trust.I have good gut instinct and can feel who is not trustworthy.Take your time to know someone before you give. You need to surround yourself with people who you can trust and cherish the way you are.I also think a lot of people get scared of our emotions,so learn to be more objective and do not take what they say at heart.Engage in doing something artistic and use that energy to deal with those feelings in a productive way.

I feel you, if I was born an hour later I would be a Leo moon, but you know we got to work with what we got. If you take too much time looking at what could’ve been, you’ll never find the beauty in what you have, take time to introspect, get to know yourself at a deep level, allow yourself to be nurtured, and nurture yourself, take warm baths or showers, use aroma therapy supplements, allow yourself to express your negative emotions, and positive, well remaining supportive of yourself and others, and watch the light shine through, only when you decide to see the positive, will you understand the gifts that come with it, and learn how to use your intuition to know who is a good influence, and who isn’t, and if you feel uncomfortable around somebody, maybe try to excuse yourself, and take sometime to figure out what about them make you feel uncomfortable.

I am Virgo sun and cancer moon. Scorpio rising...I do agree...it has its compatibility things that go great together....but it seems like I'm always torn between making decisions with my head/heart. Virgo ppl are logical, think about things first...cancer ppl are about emotions, following ur heart. I've made many mistakes following my heart. I often do things from the heart and then the Virgo mind will doubt what I'm doing, think, analyse things, question, be doubtful...and I ruin things.
I'm a Virgo Sun, Cancer Moon and Virgo AC. What seems difficult is the tendency to alienate from the world. Virgos are like " I can do everything by myself", also we don't want to ask for help because we feel like we are supposed to manage everything and solve every issue. Then there is the Moon in Cancer, which has the need to feel safe and protected, and in a way the Sun protects the Moon by creating a safe environment, and how Virgo does it, she does is without any help, through being independent and this can lead to isolation. Also there is a fear of being criticized for both Virgo and Cancer.
Now on the other side, these are mutable and cardinal signs. A Virgo/Cancer won't accept a life situation which is detrimental for her without trying to do something about it, analyzing it to see how can she find a better solution, which makes her feel safe and makes sense. I have many thoughts about this but I don't want to write a huge comment here, maybe I'll write a blog post when I'll be in the mood (pun intended) :)
