I voted both ways but felt independent even tho before it was either DNC or RNC but they are corrupted and compromised. It is going to take a miracle, prayer warriors or other phenomena to make it happen. I hope people have a choice and he makes the ballot this time. Andrew Yang started the Forward Party after the DNC threw him under the bus. This is a long shot but with all the crud going on, who knows?

Home ownership should not be beyond anyone's reach.
I am barely a boomer and grew up with the idea that if you worked hard and played by the rules, you could attain the American dream.
The corrupt duopoly has taken that dream out of of far too many Americans' reach and reserved it for the upper class. @@melaniestarkey7868they take down at least half my comments of RFK videos. I've been seeing a lot of people complaining of this. That tells me two things, they're trying to suppress engagement for the algorithm to show less and make his support look less than it is. Another thing I noticed just yesterday, a brand new occurrence happening all of a sudden, the comment section was filled w negative comments, each having hundreds of likes. All the comments were repeating the same propaganda..his family doesn't support him, he's a trump supported spoiler, he's nuts, his father and uncle would be ashamed..you know, all the typical lies. It's completely obvious it's an organized, concerted effort. There was no real argument, just parroting the usual propaganda over and over. The DNC has come right out recently and said they'd do whatever necessary to keep people from voting for him. They hired a group specifically to "convince people not to vote for him," that is their sole purpose. People should be furious they're intentionally being manipulated but I guess they'd have to recognize it first. It's going to take him getting a national audience. We need to demand a debate. There's still too many who are falling for the propaganda, they won't even hear him out bc they've been convinced he's not worth the time or effort. They've done a good job brainwashing people to think they'd be ridiculous to even consider it. It's sad bc people should be more curious and wanting to verify everything. @@dao8805 Lowering interest rates doesn't lower prices (just the interest you pay), it just makes it easier for people to get loans to pay the already high prices. So his plan is an attempt to increase sales of homes, which only makes money for the companies that bought them up. Or in other words; making the rich richer.
@@dao8805 All it does is lower interest rates, not what house sellers make. What that means is people get more loans, and the company that owns it still makes its money. Or in other words, it just helps the rich get richer and does not at all dissuade rising home prices. And once you understand that, it becomes easy to see how RFK is trying to pull a fast one, by pretending he's pandering to the average person, when in reality he's telling these big companies that he will make them even richer, knowing that there are people who aren't educated enough to understand.
We've been manipulated and controlled by the establishment for far too long. It's time to show them our true power and take our country back! RFK is ready and willing to lead the charge. This is THE BIGGEST campaign issue. I live in LA and almost everybody here who rents is under extreme housing stress. Another HUGE problem is we are unable to get rental housing built for the working poor. I'm afraid the FEDS are going to have to start building housing for the working poor. The reason being is the local governments are controlled by existing homeowners whom are more interested in their own home values rising than letting the less fortunate have access to housing. Only the FEDS have the power to force housing for the working poor on the local governments. A presidential candidate that can get a plan together for the working poor and communicates it well to these voters will be very successful.

It's on the market's floor too their are misguided sellers who because they are overzealous about their home they typically overprice it. Then it comes embarrassingly tumbling downwards. This creates a homes extended market time.
This market time along, builders' shortages, and a crazed inflated rate is a recipe for this weary housing markets.
Ideally we can also think about conservation too and rebuild in urban blighted areas. Lets borrow from the Habitat model and Recreate our blighted American neighborhoods !!!
For most of the period between 2010 and 2022, the Federal Reserve used money printing to drive interest rates down to about Zero percent. The Fed’s intent was to increase the cost of assets, such as stocks, bonds, and real estate. You can see how successful the Fed’s policy was when you try to buy a house or invest in stocks. Mr. Kennedy’s proposed 3% interest rate plan will make houses more expensive, not less expensive. In addition, dividing Americans into favored groups and unfavored groups (e.g., first-time homebuyers) is contrary to our ideal of Equal Protection. To lower the cost of houses, the government should seek to increase the supply of houses (particularly smaller “starter” houses) and to place some limits on the number of people who immigrate to the U.S. because they need housing, too.
I agree that this program should not be limited to first time buyers. It should be based on income and not currently owning a home or nor having owned one for a prescribed period of time, say 2-5 years.
The historical program RFK Jr is basing this on did not increase home prices. We need to increase the percentage of Americans building equity in a home rather than making their landlords wealthier.
The problem of private equity buying up the housing market does need to be unraveled to increase the supply of homes on the market. Firms like Blackrock bought up entire neighborhoods and developments. Incentivizing them to divest their residential holdings will increase supply.
To fix this current situation, I favor putting more power into the hands of individual purchasers, not home builders.
BlackRock etc. don't own the property, their investors do. I get it though. You want to eliminate competition for first time homeowners.

This all sounds good but I may lose my home due to insurance. I am retired on a fixed income. My insurance has doubled over the past few years. I have never filed a claim and I have increased my deductible. If it goes up again I am probably done. I am not the only one. Insurance and unreasonable real estate fees are seemingly more of a problem than interest.
"The Future Starts Now" is a campaign slogan that actually means something.
Right now, too many Americans are suffering from homelessness, food insecurity, addiction, chronic illness and being victimized by violent crimes, and feel they have no future. Let's put RFK Jr in the White House and give everyone a new beginning, a chance to build their lives anew and realize the American dream.
States and local communities already recognize properties as being rented or primary owned. States and cities can make it extremely more expensive to be a landlord than live in the home. In my state, 2nd homes are taxed at a higher rate. But landlords aren't taxed any more. Change this.
The problem with making homes more affordable is that landlords love cheap properties and they buy them up first. Then rent them out.

Yep, is it possible that people can purchase housing bonds and earn a small interest, with a set year they will mature. Somewhat like War Bonds. Would this set up funds for loans for house loans. Also alote home buyers are having to come up with 20 percent down plus closing and other fees. ? To think about. Voting RFK Jr and Shanahan 2024 to help our Grandchildren to get housing.
