    The 2020 factory 116 needs the Stage 1 intake & exhaust before the Stage 2 kit which includes the 60mm throttle body, high lift cams, bigger fuel injectors, and new tune. With both stage 1 & 2, the factory 116 which has high flow heads should be equal or better than a TS111 with the Stage 3 BBK. No mention of upgraded clutch springs.

      what noticable advantage brings the high flow head?

    • @MeatballRebel
      @MeatballRebel 5 лет назад

      Björn Altmann Not sure, probably a little more horsepower at higher rpm that you won’t notice when riding is my guess.

    I test rode the 2020 Springfield dark horse and aside from it being a beautiful bike, the 116 was wonderfully smooth and responsive, definitely fell in love!

    Challenger is definitely not a hoax. I saw what looked like a production model in Bronze being tested on the highways of Wisconsin. Had the fixed fairing and the challenger lights. It may not appear in the 2020 lineup, but I'm thinking 2021 for sure.

    • @RebelRides
      @RebelRides  5 лет назад +1

      That's good to know. I am still holding out hope that it will be in the 2020 range. 🖒

  • @OpenRoader

    I think the bat wing on the Scout looks good, but they have'n't shown it from the riders position. I want to know what the dash looks like. Another solid vid bro

    • @RebelRides
      @RebelRides  5 лет назад +2

      It's a quick release item so uses standard instruments. If you go onto the US site there's a 3d builder that lets you customise the Scout, add the fairing and turn it around so you can see it from the rear 🖒

    The fairing looks nice but the windshield options make it too low for my taste. The bags look interesting, but I wonder what the capacity is in those

    • @RebelRides
      @RebelRides  5 лет назад +1

      They do size options for the screen 🖒

    • @CDLNEPA
      @CDLNEPA 5 лет назад

      @@RebelRides I looked at the options on the website and think the tallest screen would still be too small for me. Had the same issue on my last bike with the Memphis Shades Batwing, but Long Ride Shields had a taller option. 🤷‍♂️

    Dazzle are you going to trade up for the new liquid cooled bike whichever they decide to call it? Im considering trading in my 18 Chieftan on it

    • @RebelRides
      @RebelRides  5 лет назад +2

      I won't be trading. My Vintage has sentimental value. Eventually I'll be able to afford another bike in a few years but I'll wait and see what's out then - unless Indian want to give me one! Haha.

    Total crap , no such thing as a 100th anniversary indian scout . Indian died in 1953 , polaris bought the name , and dug up the dead in 2013 . Come on , quit claiming crap like this polaris , I have ridden , and like the machines to a point , but quit claiming to be the American icon that they are not , and the longevity of production heritage , which doesn't exist . Living a lie , you can't deny .

    • @RebelRides
      @RebelRides  5 лет назад +1

      😂😂😂😂😂😂 ain't you a ray of sunshine 😂😂😂😂😂 hang on 😂😂😂 let me just 😂😂 catch my 😂😂😂😂 breath.
      Ok I think I've recovered😂😂😂 no really that was it. I'm ok now. Do you not understand what anniversary means? The original Scout came out in 1920, so of course they want to celebrate that with a modern special edition Scout. We don't have a world war every year but we still celebrate armistice day, VE day etc. So by your logic there should be no such thing as a 75th Anniversary of VE Day? 😂😂😂 oh, there you go. You've set me off again 😂😂😂

    • @sluf1963
      @sluf1963 5 лет назад +1

      @@RebelRides the lndian motorcycle company died over 60 years ago , done , defunct , so the Scout did not stay in production . polaris recreated the scout just a few years back , as they did Indian in 2013 yet polaris claims since 1901 , selling an idea maybe , or a false heritage . I do halfway like the bikes , but there is no history here , just an old name on a new machine , claiming something , that it is not . I have even considered owning one . The fake history claim is a turn off . Just saying , without emogies , or gimics , just truth .

    • @RebelRides
      @RebelRides  5 лет назад +2

      Anniversary is not continued production. Simple.

    • @sluf1963
      @sluf1963 5 лет назад +1

      @@RebelRides I have rode these machines , I do like the look of the Vintage Chief , the Road master is the only big tourer my feet are on the ground with . That is why I am considering one . I don't care for the lack of a full flat frame underneath , I like to lift my bikes to clean them . I owned a Street Glide, lowered it , rode like crap , even stock , their suspension travel sucks , the Indian smokes them in that aspect . I just don't know if polaris can be trusted . Ride safe .

    • @RebelRides
      @RebelRides  5 лет назад +1

      Marketing is marketing. If it didn't help sell bikes they wouldn't do it. Ultimately though the products have to match up to the hype and if you like riding them a dislike for their marketing isn't a reason to not trust them. In my own experience Polaris have the backup needed to carry the Indian brand.
