I joined some time after this video was made and never got to experience the old League (only S5), and since then I've taken up Riven and have had tons of fun erasing people from existence with TONS OF DMG, but I really wish I couldn't played back then. There IS a site known as 'League of Memories' which is like a fan-made old version of League but I haven't accessed that yet. Looks like a lot of fun.

lol faker is def one of the best faker players in the world. He knows what to do with her more than any other player ive seen. If anything his fast q combos are rediculous. but thats my opinion. Also i remember now thanks for the reminder

do you make use of the riven Q animation cancel? and if so does it benefit you in some situations? btw very nice riven montage :)
every good riven, uses the q animation cancel. it always benefits you. it gets you better dps.

I dont know if it is good, since i can't compare it to another program. But i can say it has some issues, but overall it can be used pretty well and you can do stuff like this video with it.

I dont understand how he is so fast with his combos, for example at 0:44 .. I am clicking everywhere with my mouse to cancel the q's, smashing my fingers into the keyboard, doing the ERQ-AAW-RAA combo and its not nearly as fast as that. I am practicing her for quite a time now in platinum elo (im still playing like lower gold with her) and with half the time I put in learning her, I could've learned playing several champs high platinum style. I don't want to quit it but I don't get better. Is there anyone else out there in the same position? Should I just stop playing her and concentrating on other champs, or is there a turning point where you start getting better of a sudden?
When I started playing her I was feeding all the time I nearly didn't even want to play anymore. But I don't know how but slowly I started to get better and better and I think I am kind of good with her now ( of course not as good as these guys :D)
Look up a cancel animation guide it really helps you combo with riven.

You can cancel wind slash by using Q at the right time after it.Just sayin'
Use ravenous-w instead of w ravenous. Rav-w damage goes in at the same time but w-rav is much slower

How can i cancel the auto-attack animation? It's really really slow..
you can cancel the autoattack animation with your q if you use it instantly after the enemy recieves dmg from your aa. You can also cancel the animation of your q by doing a movement command away from the enemy end then aa the enemy again. thats called the fast combo :)

it is insanely hard to master that though ^^ it took me about 1 month to make that move how it should be

SinNombreYQueWea i donnu if you know about it but there's some champions in this game with the rigtht skills can 1v5 riven is one of them and she do it in a classy way i saw some cambos done perfectly with riven that decimated a whole team (i admit it's kinda rare especially now)but it happens
Stevens Shiloe I mean, if you go full ap with malphite and in the other team there are 5 squishies all together in a single spot, it will be a pentakill, but its not like "w0w malphite is broken he can 1v5".
