First of all I see and appreciate all your hard work and efforts in putting out a video EVERYDAY! No doubt it’s very time consuming. I look very forward to your video every morning with my coffee….. I literally SAVE it so I can thoroughly enjoy it. As a 10 year resinista I appreciate the fails so much because I’ve had many myself and your possibly helping me prevent a future fail. So this video does have a big purpose whether you think so or not.. thank you Michelle…. I see you ❤
I appreciate you showing us your "fails" which we don't consider them to be. However, watching you has made me realize that not every project will be what we expected. Be brave! Thank you MIchelle.
Thank you so much for sharing these learning experiences. I am new to resin and really appreciate the chance to see different outcomes with different techniques and products. They came out beautifully I think! Thank you for teaching us. 😁👍😍😊
I appreciate you showing ones that don’t work and how you tried to save them don’t be so hard on yourself you’re videos are very informative and you’re a good teacher
I love the first 2. The purple line on the 2nd one now matches the center perfectly, great save. The first one I would back coat as the others have already said. I'm inspired to try it now!
I just watched this bloom video and I have to say, I honestly love the first two, I think they turned out very unique, and the third one is kind of cool too
The purple one is very pretty I like it the most. The first one I love the bloom it's still pretty. The 3rd one I like the back more than the front. 😊❤😊
I really like the second one to be honest it looks like a dandelion clock - but I understand the feeling when something just won't do what you want it too - thankyou for showing the video tho Michelle ❤
I've done 3 fireworks coasters using your mold. I use regular curing resin. Space your dots further apart. I got 4 circles of dots in that mold. I love my new mold. ❤😊
I think the second one came out best. Last one would have if the dots were staggered more and maybe smaller dots. The first one I liked the colors together just didn’t move enough. Great tutorial. ❤ the fact you show all. 🥰 Noe this one makes me want to pour some resin. 😍
For your first one, why not backcoat in either the red or purple. That might look cool. Your second and third came out nice. Love even your failures. It helps the rest of us.
The second one actually worked. If you had not used the heat gun, it would not have blobed. I did the same thing, tried it again with no heat and it worked. But love the first one also. Try it again.
Julie with pouring your heart out is a master at blooms. I think she uses a slower curing resin, but don't hold me to that. She also does fairy flowers. I have not tried them myself yet. Keep trying.
Thanks, yes we use the same resin for blooms at the same temp. It's just that the outer edge didn't work as expected. I found the original video I watched by Petra and she was using a different mica powder.
You sound so hard on yourself the purple one reminds me of the dandelion fuzzy one I honestly love the first one the most however they are all so different and interesting I am so addicted to your videos thank you so much
Michelle, I love your videos success or fail. I. Learn so much. Now I just need more courage to try my own. Query: do you ever color the Ocean White? What do you use if you do? Thank you and bless you for all you do 🙏❤️
Actually, I really like #2. It looks like a dandelion puff, and the center makes it more delicate. #3 kinda looks like pipe cleaners. Very interesting, but don't care for the center on it. Nice tries though. I'm kinda like that. After 3 times, I'm done. I can't afford to waste resin.😊❤
Hey! My husband just got me that same thermometer. 😂 Unless it ends up being poop brown like my black. 😅 1 ! Maybe you should have used casting resin? This is a learning experience for all of us. Perhaps if you used the heat gun on the fast cure? Because it is what you used on the second try. Don't get me wromg, but I love it when you get mad at the resin. 😅 Because I know I'm not the only one. I did like the second one. It reminds me of a dandelion fluff. 😊 I like the save on it. That last one is cool 😎 I personally like it. Don't be so hard on yourself. I think it's been a good lesson for me. And I like the last two. First one well. . . Into the terrazzo experiment pile?
You need to watch "pouring your heart out". She experiments every day and tells you what resin will work for what you want. Her name is Julie and she will answer any questions you have.
I’ve learned a lot in the beginning with watching her. I’ve never seen her do this technique before (bloom and backing) all at the same time. The only one I’ve seen do it was Petra.
If you'll notice, when Julie does her dots, she does multiple layers. She does one full round. Then she does another round just slightly shifted from the first round. I kept wondering why she did that. Now that I see your coaster, I think I understand that's how she got them to not be in a straight line. Then she quickly pours some clear in the center and that is what pushes the resin back into the color and then pulls it toward the center. Did that make any sense? It seems weird but I've been staring at these videos for a long time. I still like your second and third attempt even if it wasn't what you were expecting. Give it another go. 😀 and happy New year!
Yes, they are fails in that they did not match your vision. Even so, they are 3 unique pieces and each has its own unique beauty so I would not call any of them fails. We are always our own worst critic. Thank you for sharing.
Everyone i see do blooms puts the colour in first then the white then leave then the clear push maybe that would work better ive only ever done one and did mine that way
I wonder what would happen if you let the white get hot to the temperature you need it to for the bloom and then mix up the colors with new resin that isn't heated up yet would that would. Idk how using 2 didn't temp resins would react and set up
This question us way off topic, I am sorry for that. You mentioned that the little magnets you use are quite strong but I can not find them listed in your links after the video. Can you please add a link so I can order some? Or just let me know in some way? thank you!!!!
Yes you are too hard on yourself I've been thinking about what you call fails why not think of something you can do with them I love working with resin and have a lot of mistakes so I thought why not use them in something like a project for your home as talented as you are I believe you can come up with something great I was thinking about a stool by just taking them laying them in away that they can be used you may have to cut them to make it work. I really wanted to do one for the outside but we know what happens with the sun anyway please try I really believe you and your hubby can figure this out. Thanks for your hard work.
I think the order in which you poured was the issue, I see Julie pour her color first, then dot/swirl and then clear push in the center to bring everything together. You have the technique, I just think it was not in the right order. Give it another try!
First time watcher and I think they are to beautiful to be a failure. It you had a big lump of brown resin that is a failure. This is a happy accident according to Bob Ross the painter
You are way too hard on yourself for sure. The second one was a good save and is pretty. The first one has a pretty center flower and could use a dark background to be a save. The third one is not awful just not great.
Actually, I did this technique 3D Bloom with Metal Powder background already almost two years ago without seeing it by anyone else. I was just playing around with mica. I am describing the resin I am using in my videos 😃 Great test Michelle. 🫶
Thank you for all you do both here on YT and on Facebook! I've learned a lot from you and appreciate it very much. Thank you! ❤
Thank you!! Happy New Year 🎊!

Awww thank you so much!
I appreciate you showing us your "fails" which we don't consider them to be. However, watching you has made me realize that not every project will be what we expected. Be brave! Thank you MIchelle.
❤ So happy watching your experiments! 🔬 Resin can be tricky, I think you got some lovely results!! ❤❤❤🤩.
I enjoy your videos!!! Thank you
The channel pouring your heart out she's awesome at this exactly what you're looking
#1 is my favorite I would back it in black and put a silver center. Love to watch your experiments.
Thanks for your time resin has a mind of it's own showing us your fails is very helpful!
Michelle I think all are beautiful. Don’t be so hard on yourself. I would be so happy to get those results. Thanks for sharing with all of us. ❤❤❤
Not failures Michelle experiments😊 yes we can learn from it because you put this video out . Thank you😊😊
You were experimenting they’re no fails in experimenting only what worked & what didn’t work with these ingredients.
aThank you Michelle ❤
I love the first 2. The purple line on the 2nd one now matches the center perfectly, great save. The first one I would back coat as the others have already said. I'm inspired to try it now!
I just watched this bloom video and I have to say, I honestly love the first two, I think they turned out very unique, and the third one is kind of cool too
I think u can save the first one with the bloom in the middle just back coat it in the red and I think it will still look great
The purple one is very pretty I like it the most. The first one I love the bloom it's still pretty. The 3rd one I like the back more than the front. 😊❤😊
On the red and purple back coat, it with glitter . I like them❤❤❤
None of them are fails. They are all really pretty😊
Maybe try a black background on the first bloom. I think they all look great. The first bloom is so pretty, just needs a dark contrast behind it ❤
I actually agree, then you will see the beautiful bloom😍🤩
Watch Julie at Pouring Your Heart Out. She is a bloom master😊
I agree with Kim, I have watched so many of her bloom experiments. She really is the bloom master ❤😂
I was going to say the same thing . She is amazing with blooms .
The third one is my favorite it almost looks as if you took some coral and incased it in resin 😊😊😊
I really like the second one to be honest it looks like a dandelion clock - but I understand the feeling when something just won't do what you want it too - thankyou for showing the video tho Michelle ❤
I really think the second one isn't a fail. That one is pretty. ❤❤
Not total failures. Different yes.
The second with the heavenly sparkle is my favourite. Thanks Michelle for making it real. It’s appreciated.💐
I've done 3 fireworks coasters using your mold. I use regular curing resin. Space your dots further apart. I got 4 circles of dots in that mold. I love my new mold. ❤😊
Those blooms are a bit too controlling over my resin and love seeing techniques…but not attempt. Knowledge is power…thank you!💯❤️
I think that none of them are fails, each one is unique in their own way.
So glad you shared this process, thanks so much!
That second one is gorgeous!
I think the second one came out best. Last one would have if the dots were staggered more and maybe smaller dots. The first one I liked the colors together just didn’t move enough. Great tutorial. ❤ the fact you show all. 🥰 Noe this one makes me want to pour some resin. 😍
I am so glad your letting us learn from your fails
I like the first one, maybe back it so the bloom shows up more.
Love the purple one
Yep I'm never doing them I tried a few times but not one worked😢 thank you for sharing it all I don't feel quite so bad lol ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing these, ❤
For your first one, why not backcoat in either the red or purple. That might look cool. Your second and third came out nice. Love even your failures. It helps the rest of us.

I actually like the first one the best!
I would make these into garden flowers
Man I wish I had mistakes like that! lol you can’t go wrong girl
Julie with pouring your heart out is a master at blooms. I think she uses a slower curing resin, but don't hold me to that. She also does fairy flowers. I have not tried them myself yet. Keep trying.

Oh thank you!
I use Let's Resin. I never use fast set, I just don't have good luck with it.
The second one looks like you captured a dandelion.
Michelle, I love your videos success or fail. I. Learn so much. Now I just need more courage to try my own.
Query: do you ever color the Ocean White? What do you use if you do?
Thank you and bless you for all you do 🙏❤️
Definitely try!! It so much fun! You can color the ocean white with any color but it will be a muted color as the white is so strong and pigmented.
I like the 2 nd one
None of the are horrible!
They’re just not what you had in your mind! Try again later, because you don’t give up, right?
Thanks, Michelle!

That last one is cool 😎 I personally like it. Don't be so hard on yourself. I think it's been a good lesson for me. And I like the last two. First one well. . . Into the terrazzo experiment pile?
I think the casting resin would blob really bad as it’s much thinner

Hi ,put a black background on the first one ,I like all 3 I would be very happy to get that effect.
If you'll notice, when Julie does her dots, she does multiple layers. She does one full round. Then she does another round just slightly shifted from the first round. I kept wondering why she did that. Now that I see your coaster, I think I understand that's how she got them to not be in a straight line. She’s doing a fairy flower or something like that with the clear push, I wasn’t going for that technique I just wanted a starburst effect. 😊
In all honesty, I like the first one the most. Put a dark background on it.
Yes, they are fails in that they did not match your vision. Even so, they are 3 unique pieces and each has its own unique beauty so I would not call any of them fails. We are always our own worst critic. Thank you for sharing.
Everyone i see do blooms puts the colour in first then the white then leave then the clear push maybe that would work better ive only ever done one and did mine that way
That sounds like a "fairy flower" blooms don't get a push with clear.
If you used your pump resin, and let it get hot, would it get thicker for a bloom?
Thank you for showing your failures. 😊
Yes any resin will get thicker as they get hotter..
Michelle watch Juli at " pouring your heart out" she has this down pretty well.
I've never seen her do the back coat at the same time as the bloom though. I just found who I saw it from and it was Petra 2 years ago.
1325 starts her flowers
You poor thing. I felt for you. Been there and have the tshirt.
QUESTION. What is a good top coat resin?
Depends what you are topcoating...
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 like coasters
I wonder what would happen if you let the white get hot to the temperature you need it to for the bloom and then mix up the colors with new resin that isn't heated up yet would that would. Idk how using 2 didn't temp resins would react and set up
I'm not sure but maybe another day LOL
This question us way off topic, I am sorry for that. You mentioned that the little magnets you use are quite strong but I can not find them listed in your links after the video. Can you please add a link so I can order some? Or just let me know in some way? thank you!!!!
Sure! Here’s the link amzn.to/3Z1KzwD
Oh you thought the Same as I did
Yes you are too hard on yourself I've been thinking about what you call fails why not think of something you can do with them I love working with resin and have a lot of mistakes so I thought why not use them in something like a project for your home as talented as you are I believe you can come up with something great I was thinking about a stool by just taking them laying them in away that they can be used you may have to cut them to make it work. I keep them and will eventually do something with them I don’t throw any away 👍😊
p.s. What is the small torch you use?
🥰
Maybe use alcohol ink rather than mica.
You could always do it in 2 layers
Should have saved the first one by putting a background colour on it. Personally I think it would be nicer than the second one.
I think the order in which you poured was the issue, I see Julie pour her color first, then dot/swirl and then clear push in the center to bring everything together. You have the technique, I just think it was not in the right order. Give it another try!
That sounds like the "fairy flower" you are describing. When doing a bloom you don't push it with clear.
Have you watched Julie on Pouring Your Heart Out?
Yes but I wasn’t trying to do any of hers on this one
Daniel Smith does these, check him out.❤ Yours are still pretty.
First time watcher and I think they are to beautiful to be a failure. It you had a big lump of brown resin that is a failure. This is a happy accident according to Bob Ross the painter
Thank you! Thank you for watching! Hope you enjoy the channel!
This did not seem correct. as I was watching the first one and second one, I think it is in the order you pored the resin.
I’m trying to bloom and back coat at the same time, not do a fairy flower as some have commented.
You are way too hard on yourself for sure. The second one was a good save and is pretty. The first one has a pretty center flower and could use a dark background to be a save. The third one is not awful just not great.
Thank you for teaching me not to do these. 🥴
My pleasure LOL
Why can’t you just add color behind the first one you showed ?
Probably 🤔
Actually, I did this technique 3D Bloom with Metal Powder background already almost two years ago without seeing it by anyone else. I was just playing around with mica. I am describing the resin I am using in my videos 😃
Great test Michelle. 🫶
Yes! It was you, I went back to see yours! I guess my brands didn't want to play like yours! Yours were beautiful! Any tips?
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Well try to use a gold metallic powder after you designed your flower. The resin should be even more thickened by then. 😃😘
