That’s a great question. Unfortunately the answer, for the time being, is no. If you make an action “internal”, then that can be shared only with the same organization. To share it with other organizations you need to make it public
Hi! Can you share your opinion of a valid way to execute a remote script in a reusable GitHub workflow? The script that I want to run is located in the repository with reusable GitHub action.
Hi! Is it possible this way, to create a prviate plugin repostiory, and use it inside the organization? I've tried doing so, i can checkout the repo, but not access it as a plugin :( Is it only for "enterprise" and "organization" plan is not enough? Thanks!

This got me unstuck as it explicitly calls out *internal* versus private repos for your actions. Thanks!
Welcome. Happy to know it was useful 😀
Hello, is it possible to create private actions/workflows that can be shared with other organisations? That would be great

Hi. The only way to do it is by downloading (check out) the file in the reusable workflow
+1 welcome back! 😄been experimenting w/github actions in the last few weeks. Don't think I will ever be using private actions though.
Thanks! It feels good to be back 😉

Don't worry, we'll make sure to get to the good stuff even faster next time ;) !

The repo is not really “private”, it must be set as “internal” which is available only on Enterprise 😕
