Let me explain the situation here. My brother and me are in the family house for some building update on the 1st floor.
It's now 7:29 pm here, we have done the hard work and we are now enjoying our favorite cocktail from the french Antilles.
It's called Ti-Punch, i will give you the recipe : 8 cl of Rhum from the Bologne Brand ( crafted in Guadeloupe ), 1 tea spoon of cane sugar, 1 half of a fresh lime, 2 icecube.
The alcohol is now kicking and this sound is pure bliss on our ears.
Do yourself a favor. Take my recipe and start to drink it !
Next, play this mix on the biggest sound system you have around you ( the biggest the bass the better it feels )

It's 1999, and I wake up for a glass of water and pop on the TV. Nothing's on. But MTV or MTV2 aired Windows 95 generated tracks like this.

I remember MTV had a show on around 2AM called Amp. It would play techno and for the video, it would just be rednecks shopping at flea markets (and similar odd things).
If RUclips Music had a music wrap up this playlist would be top three.
So what would be placed as number 2 and 3? ;)

There are so many variations on a theme/ genre. Veins stretch out and branch of to create new sub genres which in turn will influence other genres of music and sub categories, mixing them and blending those styles ever more, creating new root systems that seems to ever expand until it hits the proverbial wall of all things done...

Absolutely best freakin mixes in this genre
Been to many live sets worldwide and listened to many boiler rooms, etc. : some were amazing, some were flat boring and others felt just off, for some reason lacking some "magic". But I especially appreciate your work. It just feels powerful, nuanced, and right in the transitions. Would love to hear your sets live on a proper sound system some day, please consider it. All the best!
