WOW!!!! I was stationed at Ft Huachuca ( Fort We Got Cha) as we called it back in 1977 - 1980. Forscom Test Company & INSBD. This video is great , I wished I never left Arizona!

I miss the sun of Arizona and really hope sometime to visit Sierra Vista a last time. To say all the people who have know here to say Thanks. Sierra Vista is a great City and all victims there was always friendly. I was there at least 1985. Rest in Peace, Carry Richards. Maybe i will see this wonderful City again. Thanks for the lovely Video you have make.
Yes... looking back, the worst day at Ft Huachuca ws the day I left. The Sierra Vista area was great place back then. I did vist SV in 1989 and so many changes happend, it turned into a bigger city than it was in the late '70s. I still have great memorys and wold love to go back someday to live there.
Aw, it stopped too soon! Beautiful footage, beautiful music. Thank you for showing the viewers this area. I've added this to my large Arizona playlist, for Cochise County. :) Given what you've done with this video, I'd encourage you to continue creating scenic introduction videos for southeastern Arizona areas like Sonoita, Patagonia, Elgin, Benson, St. David, Sunsites, Elfrida, McNeal, Palominas, Hereford, etc. The audio is just as important, thank you for knowing that. :). Right now, after monsoon when the vegetation is green, is such an excellent time to film, don't let this refreshed season go unfilmed. :)
Just telling my children about a place i grew up where we rode all day on our bikes and built forts in the desert and had crusader wars in the new subdivision they were building and i wanted to show them they said it was not real SIERRA VISTA .. I lived in Sierra Vista for three years. I remember alot about that place. I made some special memories there from building underground forts and using the tumbleweeds to hide our forts to using an old ditch to jump out of on our bikes.. LOL Thank you so very much this is truly a special place for me
Spent about 10 months in Sierra Vista out on Ft. Huachuca at Black Tower on a project developing drone technology. Loved the place. Took rental car trips up in the mountains and wherever the thing would go. Loved the mine up there with the quartz all around. I definitely could live there.
Been here since 1964. Never gone up in the mountains . . . only Carr Canyon just below the falls. Trespassing. Belongs to the deer, birds, rabbits, lizards, bugs. Sierra Vista . . . mountain view. They're still virgin to my feet.
that sucks that you cant feel safe exploring the area without worrying about some damn smuggler hiding in some canyon! does that water just fizzle out as it makes its way down into the desert?
* Our family moved to Sierra Vista in September 1973. One of the famous restaurants was Kumquat Tree. Fry Boulevard had been recently widened to two lanes each way with a center turn lane. Cloud Nine Estates was considered the far east side of town, Sierra Vista Estates the far south side of town. San Pedro River was really a river four decades ago. Kids dove off the bridge. Now, San Pedro is mostly a dry river bed. No diving off the bridge. *
I love ft huacha/ Sierra vista... It was an awesome place to live and best time in my life so far. I'm only 18 but I don't think I'll ever find a place as unique like this. I will go back some day, live there and not just visit
Magnificent
