Lowell Canal Clean-up with Clean River Project

Check out my day where I joined Rocky Morrison and the Clean River Project crew to learn about the work they do to keep our local waterways clean. We spent the day in Lowell, Massachusetts cleaning out a canal in downtown Lowell. We even had to use a large hook to pull up the heavier items. Check out the video to see the motorized jeep, bike, and so much more! Then, we travel to The Clean River Project headquarters in Methuen, Massachusetts, where I help them sort the trash and recycling, and learn about the objects they have found over the years. These items include tires, bikes, a parking meter, and an old car recovered from the river many years ago, along with a sign telling you how many cars have been recovered with the Clean River Project since it started in 2005.
