Nice job, this is one of the first things I bought for my '98 Heritage. The one I purchased is a rail that wraps around the back of the floorboard to keep your boot from sliding off the back also. They have been great, saved my boots and pipes.
Do you know how many ankles are smashed and crushed and feet decapitated because of floorboards. ?? I'm taking it most of the New biker era does not know either. Their tennis shoes and sandals will protect them just fine 😊 As for your heel guard, I have just one more question... Are you kidding me?
@@Seadog..C5 I will agree with some of this. I myself only wear boots while riding. That I know of I have never heeled my pipes. But it was gifted to me thus I installed it. Will it stay? Time will tell. Understand the floorboard taking off a foot etc but the same could be said with a full face helmet breaking a collar bone etc. the list goes on. In the end there are two types of ppl, those that have and those that will. Thanks for the input. Tony

Good sharing, will the hole hurt your bike?
@@Benlari won't hurt a thing, thanks for the question. Tony
Looks good and will keep my size 12 boot from burning on the pipe. The only thing I don't like is you have to drill a hole. Good video.
@@tjmayer9103 thanks, yeah I didn't like that part of it either but it's very easy to drill thru anyway. Looks good and has a good function. Tony
