Some of them are valuable to collectors, but not too expensive. In particular the Lighthouse Service and more obscure organizations. The armed forces buttons in this video are quite common. Thank you for watching!
Are the military gold coloured buttons made of brass?
Yes, the buttons are all stamped brass or bronze with the appropriate finish applied. The gold colored ones are what is referred to as gilt.
