I actually purchased a candle in a wood bowl like that already made. I haven't burned it yet though.....I'm wondering if mine might have been treated with something so I won't set my house on fire.
@Danajanene Hi Dana, if it were me I would be very careful because you don't know how it's really made. And I'm thinking if treated, what was it treated with. I'm old in my 70s, and things like this make me nervous it's all about the fire for me. Maybe just look at it, not light it.. 😊 I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just thinking about your safety.
That dough bowl is gorgeous even empty!! Where can I find something like this?? Also ginger jars, I am looking for white or blue ginger jars, if anyone can tell me where, I’d be so appreciative!!

Use cheap DT plastic table covers to cover your work area...then just toss when it is no longer good to use! Will save your kitchen area!
You could sand off the extra wax on the end of the dough bowl. It’s great as-is though!
