Wow! I watch this episode every once in a while and every time I get impressed as the first time I watched it. The details in that hand rail are so slick and elegant.
Man...As a metal fabricator in the stair industry . This railing was impressive. Gave me a few ideas on how I can create a better product. Props! Keep up the awesome work.
The craftsmanship of the railing is gorgeous! Thanks so much for going into the details of how things are put together! Love to have this kind of railing in my house .... sigh!
Man you guys do amazing work. I’m a architectural fabricator for a high end custom home building company and this blows our work out of the water. Getting so many ideas from this. 👌🏼
Skill at all levels! Particularly marking the position of the angle cut on the stair vertical rods after they have been screwed into the floor and then cutting to length in the correct plane of the top rail. I see the sliding gadget with thumb screw to facilitate this. Still it is a tricky call to line up perfect with the bandsaw!
Very nice work, very detailed and you seem to go the extra mile. I do have a question though, do you find it easier to fab onsite than to take field measurements and welding in shop. I'm asking due to personal experience and cause I also own a rail business
I'd easily charge 6000$ for this style of steel railing. Let me say its very well done and thought out hats off to the steel crew they are a solid group and know what there doing!
This staircase is a piece of art! But I was extremely bothered by the fact that the owners paid maybe $20k on those beautiful stairs just to put in a $200 gas fireplace off center 🤦♀️ WHYYY!
This is a clean job right there!! Me and my dad are starting our business with this kind of jobs, this was helpful. And advises of how much a job like this could be charge and important things to consider?🫡

Wow! Amazing skills and finished look. Especially love that flush detail at the base of the stairs. So clean.
The production value of your videos is through the roof, clearly to match the quality of your work product. Keep doing what you're doing 👍
The level to this work is unreal. Watching from London... I do not come across this kind of work with metal often.
Chapeau gentlemen! Thumbs up.

I love all of the attention to detail and the engineering/design approach.
Wow. Craftsman accepting the rigors of top quality design.
Wow! Again, another impressive video!
Real nice work! I gotta ask, how do you get that finish?
Excellent video on the railings thanks for making it!

I always wonder the cost vs other options. Lot of people don’t do this kind of handmade details because is so hard to know the cost.
Stunning work guys... you are a benchmark for quality workmanship
Yes the work is masterful! Does anyone know the product used for the Patina? Black Oxide
It’s secret. Wish I knew
Beautiful work. But don't the handrail ends need to return to the wall?
Beautiful rail and work in general Why is too low ?
How was the spacing between pocket determined ? Or was it something that was done on site based on the rise and run of the each stairway?
How do you bevel so nicely with the angle grinder? Free hand or do you use a jig?
Wow 🤩! Amazing! When I grow up I want to be like Rich ! 😄
That was excellent. Following along like a great movie lol.
Is the handrail solid steel or is it tubing?
What would something like this cost?
What is the patina on the handrails? Looks amazing!
Really great details. so good. What finish is on the steel?
Rich and CF are amazing...Iron fabrication is a dying art...
Really really nice work , I like it a lot 😎🙋♂️👍👍👍👍
Beyond cool. MasterCraftsman. Thanx.
Man, wow, beautiful....true craftsman!
Rich is an Artist 👌
Since it's visible from so many angles in the house, a second rate railing would diminish all your other great work. Wow!
What is the thickness of the handrail (top part you hold)
absolutely outstanding guys ... great job
This is "next level". Very nice!
That iron work is a work of art.
