4 months ago I adopted 2 neighborhood kittens that abandoned by their mother. Not long, a street cat that I'm feeding frequently found his way to my boarding house room and decided to stay. And just last week, I adopted yet another abandoned kitten. It was rowdy at first when I tried introducing them to each other. Since it's getting merrier, this month I'm moving to a proper house to raise all of my children properly. Life's just can't get better. XD
Lupita Gonzalez If he's not deathly allergic to them he'll get over it. I used to have minor irritation to cats years ago (itchy skin and eyes) but after I started living with them I adapted to the allergy. I'm fine around cats now.
Good for u. Sounds like we are both in the same situation and I love it...I have 3 for babies that came to me either by being dumped, abandoned or stray. Gorgeous they are. And they bring so much joy!!!
mbr715 wait....patches? I knew about all the other ways of taking anti depressants, but I didn’t know they had some patch to take it, how does that work?
DreamDancer82 oh yes indeed! I love my cat so much that just looking at them melts my heart! And they are so funny and they do want to be center stage but in a non-dog like way LOL they are constantly trying to costar in our youtubes LOL
Cats are often used as therapy and Emotional Support Animals because they do help with anxiety and depression. There is just something about a purring goofy ball of fluff that gives a little positive boost to life. :3
Gatomaniac Coming from somebody that grew up with cats all my life and is a special needs person I agree they helped so much and taught me many things too.
***** I fully understand what you mean. I suffer from chronic pain and their are times I just want to give up. But my cat will take a paw and yank on an arm and meow at me until I move an arm and tell him I am ok. I have to get up to feed him, clean his litter box and all and that gives me a reason to get up each day.
JAMES PURKS, I so know what you mean, I suffer from so much pain take morphine every day plus meds for my nerve pain and muscle relaxers, someday I just hope and pray that my life ends, then Ozzy lays beside me and I know that he needs me, so he is the reason I need to be here on this earth. thank god for fur babies.
It is beyond me how anyone could watch this video, then give it a thumbs-down. If one doesn't like it, move on --- why bother sharing negativity? Those people must not have a cat! Great video, well done!
+Cole and Marmalade yeah mine does tht alot mainly on the floor by your bed but shes my princess xD shes black with a white chest whtie paws and shes 10 xD called poppie she was 2 when adopted her as her old owners made her death by popping her ear drums
I can attest to all of these, especially #10. I have chronic pain, and I had read that distraction can help (my meds don't always do the trick when it's bad). I tried video games, and while they do help, sometimes I can't even manage those. So I started watching animal videos, especially Cole & Marm, and they absolutely work in decreasing chronic pain. Of course I spend a lot of time with my own cats, but when they're napping and I'm in pain, nothing works quite like Cole & Marm. I'm still documenting how well different methods work over time, but it's been a year, and the clear winner is cats. There just isn't anything else quite like cats for easing pain (both physical and emotional). I'm also glad Hill's is sponsoring you. We switched our oldest cat (18 years old) to Hill's last year, and the difference has been staggering. She used to vomit maybe 5 times a week, but _has not vomited a single time in the year we've been giving her Hill's_. She doesn't have the energy of a kitten, but she was barely moving at all before (just to and from the litter box, we had to set her food next to her), but now she hops up to sun bathe in the window, and climbs in our laps, prowls the house, and has even started playing with toys again. She's back to a healthy weight, which is a huge deal. She's happier, healthier, and she's had a serious boost in quality of life. I definitely recommend it.
+CAT HAL (mimi) I got a flu but I'm not sick a lot. When I do get sick, like I was last week (on my birthday), my cat cuddles with me and helps me feel better.
cats can bring so much to one's life. i know when my cats sleep with me and are right next to me purring up a storm, i sleep better and my back doesn't hurt as much. i had read recently about the bone part of it and thought how amazing is that. i know that mine know if i am sick and they will comfort me, i know that for sure they lower your blood pressure, especially when you pet them and yes they can be so funny. laughing is very healing and i laugh at least 3 times a day at things my kitties do. i can't imagine life without a cat OR cat videos. my cats like watching cole and marmalade play. i love watching them watch the videos! cats are magic!
The dog version is bad too, when my vet recommended it I told her no and I told her why. Then she came up with another brand I think it was called BLUE the ingredients in it were better so I went ahead and used it.
Cole and Marmalade He is very affectionate with you, it's adorable! Some cats are just not as cuddly as others, they're both gorgeous and look so happy and healthy. :)
You forgot one very important thing: if you rescue a cat, be that from a shelter or right from the streets, that makes you feel good about yourself :)))))
Cats are the perfect cure for everything! My cat is getting older now, so i'm giving her as much love as possible. She always makes me laugh and cheers me up when i'm sad. And thanks to you, now even people without cats can watch Cole and Marm and still feel happy!
Saw something incredible, and I had been waiting for, at the mall on Xmas. A woman had her emotional support cat with her in a pet carrying bag. When she made it to Target and found a cart the kitty case opened to a beg and the cat just stayed with her but on a leash. It was a Ragdoll so it was already pretty laid back and sedate but it had no plans to leave her side : ) Can you imagine the anxiety a normal cat feels with the crazy holiday shoppers? Not this one and of course my phone was dead so I couldn't record it!
Very true! I give my furbabies Iams! My Vet strongly believes that Iams is great for my amazing Cats! They are very healthy and happy!! Thank goodness for your help Cole and Marmalade!!! You are awesome cats! You babies have a great Daddy!
So true!!! My fur babies bring me great joy and happiness just by watching them interact and how they seek us out to play with and to rub their faces all over us.
I was feeling somewhat blue and lonely this morning and I decided to watch one of your videos, "Moving Day" and I must say I laughed and thoroughly enjoyed myself watching the antics of your two precious cats, Cole and Marmalade! They are beautiful and playful and so funny... I've subscribed and even bought a couple of t-shirts! Thank you for making and sharing these videos! you made my day😀
hello , i am a new sub to your channel , i have a cat that i love with all my heart and would not know what to do without her . love your videos and they are great for your health . i have PTSD and my cat keeps me going when i have a bad day , love her. and she shows me more love then i ever thought i could feel from anyone . she is my best friend .
+BossOfBlocks :O :O :O 3??? I swear, some people are like ''This video is awesome! Lemmie just like it.. WAIT?! WHAT?! It doesn't have a dislike :O I have to dislike. `*Clicks dislike* Much better. THAT'S THE BEST VID EVER!'' THAT is what it feels like sometimes ...
I find Cole and Marmalade to be so cute . And the only reason I don't have cats is because of my allergies. I really love them and even play with them and you cat owners should always cherish your furry friends.
Oh my gosh, one of the kittensI foster adores climbing up into my hair and while I thought she was just playing and licking with it, she chews parts of my hair off. It's quite startling to be in the shower and pulling out chunks of hair. But I have more than enough so eh. :P
Really funny, and SO true! Your two guys play so gently and cute with each other. It's clear they enjoy play time with their people and each other. Such characters!
+astarothgr Everyone needs a cat in their life. :) Have you gone to the local humane society? They might need volunteers. Plenty of little animals who need some love.
You guys are amazing.. These video's totally inspired me to adopt a cat! I've always loved cats and now my mom suffers a lot from stress and high blood pressure, it's a great idea to give one of these furry friends a home. Thank you!
Your video with those lovely cats really saved my day.....reminded me of how tonight all the day's problems will melt away when I arrive home and meet my two purring ladies........thanks
yeah. my cat always help me from sadness or such negative emortions. your two boys must be happy live with you. Thanks so much for producing such warming channel.
If you are depressed or dealing with other mental health issues, cats are the best. My girl, Joanna, saved my life. Literally. The bond we share has been such an amazing healing factor. On the worst days she's the reason I get out of the bed in the morning. She knows when I'm down too because she'll jump up on my bed to bring her presence to provide extra comfort.
+TheKawaiiNeko x3, Well, my brother is seriously allergic to cats (he coughs, sneezes, and in worse situations, his throat starts to swell). I don't know how his allergies will react to a Russian Blue.
***** maybe u can search up the internet for un-allergic cats :3 my sis is allergic to cats too but she loves cats so much so my dad just adopted an un-allergic cat XD
i don't know if you are still searching but Norwegian cat (the breed) are hypoallergenic. And they are full of fur too :3 people are actually allergic to cat saliva. Norvegian naturally nearly lack the component in their that make some people allergic. But well it's a pure breed so it cost a lot of money to adopt one.
So sweet video!.. Just marvelous to see so true and deep connection between cats and owner! They are really together, supporting each other, loving and having fun! ))))) Thank you for shearing!
awww.... cute little marm with his tongue sticking out! i love it when cats do this...so cute! cole is adorable but i am definitely team marm since i also have a ginger fur baby :)
My Pryntze and N'komus got science diet. Indoor senior. Loved what was on the bag. Precisely balanced nutrition tailored for senior cats with an indoor lifestyle. My fur babies lived 14 & 17 years. Lost Pryntze to cancer, and I still think the high quality of his food gave us more time. Same thing with N'komus. Frisky as all get out til 3 days before she passed. Oddly enough, both passed away the week after the Kentucky Derby, just a few years apart
my cat Yoshi, makes me so happy,, i've had her for 11yrs so far,, someone threw h er away in a field to die at 3 wks with an awful respitory infection. She is off the charts pampered by me ever since. shes my fur buddy and my best friend.
Hi Cole & Marmalade!! You two bring me boat loads of happiness just watching you run around being the silly cats you are. I agree with you on the food front. Giving the lower end product lines doesn't cut the mustard. Buy the best product you can afford. And just remember. Us humans might have to change cat foods a few times over the life of a cat. They are very picky when they want to be.
I suffer with anxiety and depression (and I live alone) and I’ve been going back and forth about getting a kitten out of fear I would somehow make him or her unhappy...but thanks to this video, I’m adopting a Kitten this weekend 😺. Thanks for this!!
Gotta say, I've watched more cat videos in 2020 than ever before. I think my mind and body really needed that extra kitty serotonin even though I also have two cats myself :P
35 years I used to be terrified of cats 2 years ago I fell in a severe depression then I rescued a kitten which brought me out of this depression that I was in and brought so much joy to my life last month I rescued another kitten which brought even more joy and happiness to my life there is something about cats that just make me feel relaxed and comfortable. they're always with me and follow me wherever I go it's kind of cute. very glad that I got over that fear I feel now that cats are awesome
I adopted two kittens from a shelter two weeks ago, and when I first saw my singing teacher afterwards, she told me I was floating on a cloud of happiness ^^ She always said I needed to get myself a cat. They are both very attached to me, and trust me completely - she'll turn onto her back in my lap and let me scratch her belly, or she'll start cleaning herself. And on the first day, she gave me a kiss on the nose... I love those two so much
Hi! I'm from Italy and I always watch your videos, they are so relaxing! I adore cats and I also have one I have grown with (he's 17!!!) Your cats are so beautiful and funny! Thank you for sharing! :)
Just subscribed. We have a 6 month kitten, Herbie who looks very similar to Marmalade. Unfortunatly it seems my husband is allergic, in the process of confirming its cat allergy but we'd never let him go as hes been part of our family since 7 weeks. Just working my way through your channel!
1. I love your videos and have been watching them for years. I was surprised to see that I wasn't already subscribed, so I just subscribed! 2. Please add closed captioning. 🌸
If only me and my sister weren't allergic, we had a cat a few years ago and he definitely helped with my depression. For now I'll just watch your videos ☺️
Ahh, the purring. Works every time when I have a back ache at night, or when I'm just lonely... which is all the time. Thanks Lucy for being my guard cat. =^w^=
Oh I completely agree with every reason listed that cats are good for you. 1.Laughter. I can laugh now months after my great boots and dress shoes were scratched , my jacket peed on, numerous broken items, a huge hole dug in the window screen that allowed them to escape in the middle of the night etc. I smile at the wonderful time when a turkey was being prepared searching high and low for the poultry seasoning I had just used a few days before. Everything had to stop for frantic trip to the store before it closed early for Thanksgiving. Then, days later ,finding the original poultry seasoning had been batted all the way from the kitchen behind the couch into the living room under other purloined items. 2.Lower blood pressure. Yes, it did eventually lower after going up. (See number one) 3. Most of the time I've outwitted some of the sneakiest, badass brat cats you can imagine and that really boosts self-confidence. 4.Promote the importance of sleep. Yup, every night I get to sleep without one making a bed on my head or in the window howling at the wild animals and strays outside I appreciate it. 5. Support your battle with depression. Well yeah ...but there are several pairs of boots and shoes that will never be the same .... 6.Unconditional love. Absolutely ...only It's never been tested by withholding the salmon, tuna, catnip etc. 7.Purring relaxes muscles and strengthen bones. True and these purr most when the see me open the fridge and get out meat. 8.Appreciating the moment. Another truth. Only I suspect some of those moments are less relaxing meditation or joy of living and more plotting their next exploit. 9.Go a little berserk sometimes. They're adorable when they do that as long as there are no messes made....which seems to be once in a blue moon...correction.. once in blue super moon, with an eclipse. 10. Cat videos are good for you. I love them. It's therapeutic to watch their antics without having to deal with the consequences. Enjoy as much as possible without any effort or responsibility. I learned that from the cats too. ; )
My grandparents have a outdoor black, white and brown cat, she gave birth like five times and most of them died, but a small scrachy boy was left. He lived in our gardens and garages and I fed hime bones. I love him so much but he was never spayed or neutured, because most of our vet hospitals are really far away. I love him so much and he scares me when he comes running to me for food!!!
He scartches me so many times but I love him so much, I also feed his mother but I dont know what happened she just keeps on hitting little orangey baby
your videos are GREAT! we totally agree with these 10 trues about cats being good to us. I can't understand why there are people who hate those adorables creatures =( and...WE LOVE YOU, COLE AND MARMALADE!
Gotta love "your" guys--but one minor correction: no human "owns" a cat, we are guardians of creatures who once were worshipped as gods. You're so right about how therapeutic they are. I've dealt with depression myself, & remember with fondness, the late, great Siamese cat, Nenni, who would comfort me by curling up on my chest & lick the tears from my face. I've been a cat lover my whole life (I'm 71, so it's been quite a long time! Thank you so much for sharing your fellows with us--they frequently make my day.

Real children or are you referring to the cats as your children ;)
I wish I had cats but my dad is allergic to them :( I'm 8 so ya
Lupita Gonzalez
If he's not deathly allergic to them he'll get over it. I used to have minor irritation to cats years ago (itchy skin and eyes) but after I started living with them I adapted to the allergy. I'm fine around cats now.
If he takes a medication and you bathe the cat often he shuld be fine.
Good for u. Sounds like we are both in the same situation and I love it...I have 3 for babies that came to me either by being dumped, abandoned or stray. Gorgeous they are. And they bring so much joy!!!
Cats are the world's best anti-depressant.
DreamDancer82 So true😺
well, yeah... capsules, tablets, patches, and injectibles don't purr.
mbr715 wait....patches?
I knew about all the other ways of taking anti depressants, but I didn’t know they had some patch to take it, how does that work?
Purr-zac 🐆
DreamDancer82 oh yes indeed! I love my cat so much that just looking at them melts my heart!
And they are so funny and they do want to be center stage but in a non-dog like way LOL they are constantly trying to costar in our youtubes LOL

My Cat sits on the back of the couch and stares out the window to the street. I call it "neighbourhood watch"
you could put up one of those neighborhood watch signs, lol
MsRainbow Brite That's what I call it too! 😊

i don't know if you are still searching but Norwegian cat (the breed) are hypoallergenic. And they are full of fur too :3 people are actually allergic to cat saliva. Norvegian naturally nearly lack the component in their that make some people allergic. But well it's a pure breed so it cost a lot of money to adopt one.
I love it when Bella lays on me and purrs away. also I like making her content, which makes me forget, just for a moment, about my depression.
I want cat so bad but I don't know if I could provide proper home for him/her. Barely can take care of myself. 😢
+PeeHooo Maybe if you can't get a cat yet, you could try volunteering at a humane society. Play with and pet cats who need exercise and affection. :)

Interesting, thanks for the tip! :)
I am also a cat person. Watching your little fur-babies just helps get me through work until I can get home to cuddle with mine!
For some odd reason my cat doesn't purr
It took my cat Toby 4 years before he started purring. Now he is 8 and still has a soft purr.
Never thought I would be so excited for a cat video. but I perk up when I see you guys on my time line. Thanks fur sharing.
Do cats feel tickle? ^_^
+Fernanda Kraemer try tickling one!(wear metal gauntlets when you do, though).
+Shay Simmons I know... but mine won't let my hands near his belly. I can pretty much do anything despite petting his belly. It must tickle like hell!
+Fernanda Kraemer My cat always squirms when I tickle his back paws
+Fernanda Kraemer Some cats definitely feel the tickle when you tickle them between their toes :3
+Fernanda Kraemer Yeah, I've had cats who didn't mind it at all, but Boris hates it. And I do need the metal gauntlets Shay suggested! :D
So sweet video!.. Just marvelous to see so true and deep connection between cats and owner! They are really together, supporting each other, loving and having fun! ))))) Thank you for shearing!
Is watching cat videos is also good for health ? :3
+Rhea Jean i comment this before i watch the video :3 hahahah

Qash G why can’t u fucking like both u jackass
My Pryntze and N'komus got science diet. Indoor senior. Loved what was on the bag. Precisely balanced nutrition tailored for senior cats with an indoor lifestyle. My fur babies lived 14 & 17 years. Lost Pryntze to cancer, and I still think the high quality of his food gave us more time. Same thing with N'komus. Frisky as all get out til 3 days before she passed. Oddly enough, both passed away the week after the Kentucky Derby, just a few years apart
I love your cats. They must be fun company and no dull moments at all.
I don't know what I would do without my fur babies!!!! They are the lights of my life. :-)
I agree with you 100%. When I adopted Lily she has helped me. And watching cat videos helps too. Because I think of your cats others as my friends.
Cat videos DO improve my mood - especially yours! What a treat to come home from work and see them!
OMG I so luv watching these before bed. Thank you for sharing what can possibly be the most dynamic duo the world has ever seen ;)
can't overstate how important that 5th point is. especially adding routine and responsibility, very important.
I gasped when Marm fell off the top shelf. Glad he made it unscathed. Always enjoy watching your videos.
my cat Yoshi, makes me so happy,, i've had her for 11yrs so far,, someone threw h er away in a field to die at 3 wks with an awful respitory infection.
A loud YES on all points mentioned! My cat provides me with all that and more. ♥
Yep, I agree with all those reasons. And I love watching the three of you. Thanks for the videos. Keep them coming (smile)
I suffer with anxiety and depression (and I live alone) and I’ve been going back and forth about getting a kitten out of fear I would somehow make him or her unhappy...but thanks to this video, I’m adopting a Kitten this weekend 😺. Thanks for this!!
My cat probably raises my blood pressure because she is so rambunctious and weird. But I still love her :3
Gotta say, I've watched more cat videos in 2020 than ever before.
Awww thank you for bringing out these videos i can't stop watching them! Its true cats do make my day a happier one :)
Cat videos are DEFINITELY good for you! Already have two cats, but this is like icing on the cake!
I love those two so much
that tiny Marmalade mew gets me every time!
I would suggest bathing your cat some times and possibly find a good over the counter medication.
Aw I miss my fur baby, but have to admit watching Cole and Marmalade always helps me feel better :)
Cat's are definitely good for your health, mental wellness, and everything else!!!
Thank you for the great videos!!! I don't miss any of them!
I allways watch your videos with my cat Sirius and i'm sure we both love you, guys ❤️
1. I love your videos and have been watching them for years. I was surprised to see that I wasn't already subscribed, so I just subscribed!
2. Please add closed captioning. 🌸
1:15 Marmelade: Got some water? 'Cause I'm thirsty you know! :3
cole and marmalade are too sweet....i love them but pamper them more from my side as well
My vet many years ago suggested I feed my babies Iams dry food and tuna fish with out oil once a month! They are happy, healthy and very shiny babies!
(See number one)
I watch cole and marmalade 3 times in a day to lower my blood preassure
your videos are GREAT! we totally agree with these 10 trues about cats being good to us. I can't understand why there are people who hate those adorables creatures =(
and...WE LOVE YOU, COLE AND MARMALADE!
I can't wait for the day I become independent and adopt my own little fur-babies
My Tomcat eats Hills Prescription Diet CD dry cat food and I have noticed a more postive, energetic cat - which I absolutely ADORE!!
