    Nice, very nice.
Watching the going away shots and looking at the rider profiles reminded me why I stopped riding cafe bikes in my early 40's, haha, I was laughing wondering how many people laughed at me as I looked like a man scrambling to hang on to my bike while convincing myself I looked Kool doing it, hahahahaha. !!! OMG !!!
But it is good to experience everything you can while one is still able to do so, cheers !!!

My T140 breathed through the primary chain case via 3 small holes in the left hand case and no crank seal, allegedly to help the drive side main bearing. Regarding the Lack of top gear I had a genuine Triumph workshop manual and indexed the Quadrant as shown in the book, and had 4 gears on upshift but 5 on changing down as the photo that shows you how to index it was upside down. I was stumped for ages until a mate pointed it out.

somehow i don't think Triumph went to all the trouble of routing the breather to the rear if they could have made do with a five inch stub, i'd at least route it to be a rear chain oiler.

Hi Dave, if my memory serves me right the oif engine breathed through the main crancase bearing....and not the camshaft bush....the three small holes on the engine casing is inadequate to breathe. But I don't know if this build has a camshaft bush oil breather. My 72 65o bonneville lacked power till I took out the oil seal from the drive side engine bearing. Just my opinion

Yeah my T140 breathed though the primary chain case via 3 little holes in the case and no seal. My T120 had the camshaft timed breather. It was also not uncommon to replace the timing plug hole in the crankcase with a fitting and a breather pipe.

Nice but the mud gaurds don't look in proportion?...

    Yeah.
You really need to be a Triumph enthusiast.
    Or willing to learn.
    Bet it vibrates like mad.
Need loctite and a tool kit, and those spongy grips that Harley used to put on Sportsters.

Does anybody re manufacture norton featherbed frames ?

Put a 750cc Norton Atlas in that frame. Tune it will higher comp pistons, high lift cams, gas flowed head etc. I like alloy fuel tanks, but that’s my preference. Or go all out and put a Vincent engine it.

I’m a bit shocked to be honest. I can only assume the builder didn’t know the T120 well, looking at how the clutch pressure plate wasn’t adjusted properly (pretty elementary) and the restrictive breather…then of course also omitting the crankcase oil seal. That’s sometimes the risk of buying a ‘pretty’ bike. You hope the builder is as familiar and competent with the mechanicals as he is with the spray gun.

I have one with that magneto but kicks back a lot. I even bought a retarded lever kit but still kicks back. I do not know why yet
