@@daytonasayswhat9333bruhhh 😭 leave them alone. No need to start something. At the end of the day we love wrestling and that’s what we should be focusing on. good wrestling
Seems like every college wrestler always says something about the Lord lol nothing wrong with that obviously just find it interesting i guess maybe its the secret to become great at the sport 😂
@@mattcary8075I think Keegan might grow to be. Like I think he's ahead of where Brooks and Carter were, but I don't think he's there yet. I think Aaron could quite possibly be top 2-3 in the world behind DT. He's got my vote
I don't want this to come off the wrong way but, what is this obsession with the religious aspect during interviews, especially from MW guys? I get it, you have to find your inner power but, does it need to be broadcasted out at every opportunity? Maybe i was raised in a different time, i come from a religious household but, more of our inner strength we searched for was built internally and stayed internal. It almost feels forced by a lot of these guys coming out of those regions. You're relaxed at a press conference and "praise the Lord" is one of a handful of phrases you choose to say. Again, no hate, so don't crucify me, just seems a little too much in your face at times.
Feels like Penn state guys don't have any respect for there opponents just it's been fun and a competitive lol that not what they asked you obviously they overconfident
Aaron Brooks is the best pound-for-pound wrestler in this tournament. He is simply a man amongst newborns.
I agree with you. I'd be stunned if he doesn't win it all.
Some huge newborns
Even his answers. He was just confident. No hesitation, no doubts
Tremendous disrespect towards Trent Hilday
Nice to hear them show gratitude to God for their blessings
Those were my exact thoughts. Wrestlers always bring the faith. I love it.
What if he praised Allah, would you like that just as much?

Let’s Go!!!
So excited about the 2024 National Tournament!
Brooks is gonna win the Hodge trophy
When Carter said he was 100% you could hear the stampede of people rushing to change their brackets !
Predictably the comments section is a bunch of nobodies throwing a fit about someone else exercising their first amendment rights…
Praise the Lord ... 🙌 🙏
My goodness, if he is truly healthy that is a travesty that Mekhi is punished by having to face him in the quarters.

It's not just wrestling. Many of the best athletes. Especially individual sports like track and wrestling
The audio is not that great…
Carter best p4p, Keegan/Brooks = 2nd.
p4p keegan is the best
Pound for pound, it’s Aaron Brooks
Pre-injury it's Carter. Brooks has Hidlay, and Keegan has Carr, Ramirez, and Mesenbrink. Even Hamiti. Carter was the pre-season widest favorite IMO.

I just think that alot of these guys it's part of who they are and they feel comfortable being themselves . Nice example
it does seem a bit weird when 3/4 of the guys up there say the exact same thing like they're reading off a script
So don’t watch.
What are MW guys?
speaking of worthless commentary@@CharlieB-gs5uk
This press conference was mostly coach-speech. Nothing said here. Boring. Carter-say some trash about Mekhi Lewis or something!
this sport is all about respect. not trash talk.
Stick to MMA if you’re looking for that.
No reason to trash talk. Just go about your business and be a good person
What is this a god damn prayer meeting?
username checks out
Goddamn, religious Kumbaya. And then they don’t say anything interesting anyway, why even bother?
very rarely are sports figures asked an interesting question. same crap different interview
You sound as if you could use Jesus in your life? 🙏
not trying to be rude just wondering do you watch CNN?
What he said ☝🏻

I think it’s fine that they praise their lord. No one is given a sermon, so let them praise away!
