  • On the eve of the 2016 Gilroy Garlic festival, we race Caltrain 283 on the old Monterey Highway to Gilroy.
    Once in Gilroy, Amtrak 14 rolls through down town. It was on time!

    New Jersey Transit runs at 80-90mph on the Atlantic City Line between Philadelphia and Atlantic City, which is a non-electrified route. The Northeast Corridore runs 110-100mph. CalTrain should invest in electrification to reduce those trips.

      It's 79 mph for passenger trains, but as the train passes IOOF Drive, the track speed reduces to 35 mph.

      Do they have a K5LA horn on the cab cars?

    • @superbaddy4
      @superbaddy4 4 года назад +1

      No, most of the Cabs (112 through 118) have P2s, and the two "Legendary" units (119 and 120) have these strange, mysterious horns, which no one knows exactly what they are.

      The same horn that’s used on Capitol Corridor cabcars. How did it get in this guy’s car? I know that train horns cannot be used in cars due to how noisy they are compared to car horns
