Video Description

In this video I will be showing you how to easily unlock every single event that was available over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for every generation 5 game. This includes: Pokemon Black, Pokemon White, Pokemon Black Version 2, and Pokemon White Version 2.
All you have to do to achieve this is to turn off auto obtain DNS in your connection settings and set the primary DNS to the following code:
164.132.044.106
NOTE: I had stated that you can get multiple of the same event but that is not the case! If you get a duplicate event it'll just fail as you cannot receive the same event twice on the same save file! I apologize if this caused confusion!
And that's it! Just enter your game and select mystery gift and select receive gift via Nintendo WFC and you will be gifted a random event item, or pokemon!

@@angelotl999Try deleting your internet connection on your 3DS and then set it up again. Then go to the DNS settings once you’ve gotten a internet connection. Then type in the primary DNS and you should be good. I had a similar issue to yourself and that worked for me.

@@matthewrozario2674 I don't think so I was going off my wifi it could be that if your going off a hotspot that it doesn't work or if ur going off your router try using a hotspot and I just changed my DNS and it worked fine I didn't mess with anything else

For all pokemon black and white dsi users, This 100% works. Like he says in the video it can fail sometimes but I have gotten so many pokemon. I even got the special pikachu with the HM fly?? And a shiny palkia!

Victini is my favourite Pokémon but I have never been able to get it because the event ended while I was a stupid kid. But now for the first time I can catch my Sweet Sweet Prince legit, so thank you you beautiful legend (also I can confirm it works in Canada)

I can confirm as of 06/15/2020 this works. I’ve gotten a shiny metagross, event meleotta, world championship event smeargle. This is crazy it feels as if this is a legit exploit. It’s weird how this is working and all the events I’ve gotten are real not hacked or loaded. I live in Georgia by the way. Thanks again

You need to use a hotspot with no password or wifi with no password and go to Nintendo wfc settings in diamond perl platinum heartgold soulsilver and change dns settings to 164-132-044-106 then go to options system information to get your MAC address and add it to your phone hotspot in add device then go to gen 4 game mystery gift for diamond perl and platinum you have to unlock mystery gift feature at jubilife city at the jubilife tv statio on the third floor talk to the man the code is 1(everyone_happy) 2 (wifi_connection) then save and reset game R+L start and select button to soft reset and then go to mystery gift Nintendo wfc
Yeah I searched it up and I cannot use the hotspot with no password because I have an iPhone. I could try to use my friends android and I plan on doing that later on

As someone who got suddenly nostalgic and wanted to play from scratch knowing I can now have some of the Pokémon I could never get it made me extremely happy.

2020 quarantine brought me here to find something to do and I must say I was not disappointed
I tried this on my HeartGold Italian version cartridge with the settings of the game rather than the console and it worked to the point it nearly gave me a heart attack when I saw a new was being sent my way
I'll finally be able to unlock the celebi event as soon as I receive that too!
So, in short yeah, this works on gen 4 games too.
One advice I give is to use your phone hotspot as connection and set it WITHOUT password so you automatically bypass WEP/WPA2 issues easily and without having to tweak your home wi fi which can be kind of a hassle otherwise
@Lova Stjernqvist 05 yes Nintendo DS because you can only set the WFC from the menu of the game itself in gen4, so it wouldn't matter what the settings are in the console itself

Guess you are me. I literally did this in quarantine on my HeartGold copy, though I’m waiting to beat at least Johto league. I’m trying right now on Black2 (this is an Italian copy too) but it doesn’t seem to work.
@@Ben.158 I've had some problems on gen 5 games too because in those the consolle internet settings have priority over the game cartridge internet settings smh so if you're using a dsi or a 3ds It may give some issues, but once you move on a ds for example the game will be forced to use the cartridge internet settings and it'll go smoothly. What you can do if you have a 3ds or dsi is deleting all internet settings of the consolle and only set up internet on the cartridge and there shouldn't be any conflict between the two

I was in nursing school when both B/W and B2/W2 came out. I never got to play any of them until I bought the games in 2020 through Ebay (not easy to get by the way).
I've always been sad to not be able to get the event pokemons released back then until I just randomly googled what events where given out of curiousity...that's how I got recommended this video.

I have been trying to do this for weeks and I finally found this video and was able to get it to work. THANKS!
I have been getting a lot of comments saying that people have not been able to get this to work. That is because this has a random chance of failing. As long as you follow my steps correctly and you are able to connect to internet, it will work. It may just take a few to a lot of tries for it to not give you a communication error.
Along with that, I have been hearing reports of people getting an error that says, "No gifts found," and I have figured out that it is due to them trying to attempt this in other countries. As far as I know, this works in US and Europe but I am not sure where it works in other places. If you live in a different country and can access these events be sure to reply with it to this comment! As for people who get the "No gifts found" error, I am sorry but it looks like you just cannot do this. I hope this clears up some confusion!

You can also get keldeo in sword/shield DLC. You can catch him, which means you can have one in any ball! Which is awesome.
I tried this on 10/29/2020 and it does work! I got the 60000 error, and I was able to fix it by using a copy of SoulSilver to clear the Nintendo WFC settings first. I finally got Meloetta after somehow managing to miss every single event distribution of it in the past. Thank you!

Since this method just reproduces the usual way that these events are distributed, there's nothing that is coded into the game that tells itself that it's wrong or illegitimate because it's to do with changing your wifi settings rather than the actual game. So go wild! 😂

These Pokemon should all be avalible in white, and black/white 2 aswell. Aside from Zekrom who is a exclusive gift to Pokemon Black and black 2, in white/white 2 you get Reshiram. Apparently in only black and white 2 you can also get Deoxys (I cannot test as I have neither game). The order above is how I got them and it took me about a hour to get all of them. Although from the comments it seems to vary on luck of how many repeats you get. I got the first 16 very quick and the last three took the longest amount of time. But I wager it varies on how many errors and repeats you get doing this. I only got like four errors and all I did was restart for it to work again.

This is really cool, I knew this was possible but I didn't know it was this easy, I was able to get a keldeo, a deoxys, and a meloetta from my first three and u can't wait to see what else I get

I got one badge in my replay on white and now I have a lv.17 starter and all event pokemon all the way to lv.100, totally not broken at all 10/10 ign would recommend

After 10 years of not playing Pokémon or even touching my DSi, I started my Pokémon White and White 2 with new saved data and this thought came to my mind. I ordered me a copy of white 2 not that long ago, because I wanted keldeo and some more pokemon (not knowing they were event pokemon). When my game gets here I'mma try this method. And in advance I'll subscribe with notifications on, even if it doesn't work I will not unsubscribe, because you were the closest I could get to my answer.
So useful for Victini. If you didn't know victini cannot normally learn V-Create which means using this method will allow for you obtain a victini that actually has V-Create. It was so disappointing when I got the Victini event in gen 6 and realized it couldn't learn that move. Thanks for sharing this useful method.

6/25/19 and we are golden! If you’re receiving error code 20110 please just double check that you have entered the DNS into YOUR correct WiFi network and test the connection. I realized I was using the wrong internet setting at first, corrected it, and so far Cloyster and Deoxys. Subbed. Good looking out!
