Wow, this is so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful! Love the grill! How far in advance would you have to book a reservation for a spot like this especially at Glacier? Weekday camping is ideal for sure! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words!!! Spots at Kintla and Bowman are first come, first serve. I just came from Many Glacier and Two Medicine and was able to snag spots at both the day prior as they release sites about 4 days in advance for some.
Video drop with second cup of coffee. Nice! Dude, I bet that lake water was cold! I was streamside in Copper Basin (Ketchum) last week and lasted less than 15 seconds in the stream. Freezing! Of course the first thing the lab did EVERY morning was walk in the stream before breakfast. I am looking at a smaller solar powered unit for everyday trips. I found a Jackery 1500 w/two 100 watt panels online at Costco for $1500. It normally runs $2400. Im thinking a 300 or 500 will be enough. The 1500 is still at 100% from a March trip to Utah.
Water was ice cold for sure! Make sure it’s the jackery that fast charges and not their older style unit. That is one thing I do like a lot on newer units is the fast ac wall charging when needed. Costco is also great about backing the product and returns if ever needed.
That was an amazing view. I’ve only been past Glacier on the train 😢. Hope to get there myself and explore. It’s definitely on my list of National Parks to visit. Also: you asked me to give you a review of the Mountain House Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwich that you featured in a past video. I finally got to try it when I went camping in Sam A. Baker State Park here in MO last weekend. I liked it. It was both crunchy like a cookie, and I thought I was eating an ice cream sandwich, which I was. Drinking water while eating did enhance things. 😂. Thanks again for your videos. -Chris⛰️🚙
You have to make it out for sure! Nothing else quite like it. And yes, you really need some water when eating the ice cream bar 😂. It’s weird for it not to be cold, yet taste like the real thing. It’s a mind trip at first.
Glad I found you on RUclips great videos. I'm planning to go to Montana Glacier national Park and was looking to camp somewhere around that area and came across this video and it shows that it does not require reservation so it's basically first come first serve?
Glad you found it! And yes - both Kintla and Bowman are FCFS. Bowman you usually have really good luck finding a site but at Kintla you only have the 7 sites so it's kinda a gamble.
@@hunter_pauley got it, thank you. Also I want to explore more of Montana and I'm sure I'll have few questions for you in future 😁 I'm playing a trip with my family next summer just looking for good disperse camping areas near Glacier.
No it wouldn't. I have seen peak of 80w from the one panel on a sunny day. The anker is 1024wh, so 9 hrs x 80w = 720wh. I would expect up to 50% charge. Will be doing a power overhaul here soon though and hopefully working with a company on the solar setup.
GNP is a true American treasure. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Amen to that!
Tacos look good ... Lake view is beautiful!
Thank you! These tacos hit the spot for sure :)

@@paulhgarza thank you Paul!
Awesome video and that place is beautiful, thanks for sharing, and I still laugh your out in the wilderness eating better than I do at home haha 😂
Haha I do love cooking outside. Food also always taste like 10x better as well!
Kintla is one of the best places to camp, canoe, or hike the lake
It really is an amazing spot. Wish I got over there more this summer!
Very nice video, I'm going to start calling you the gadget man, demo guy. Good job.
Love the name! Gonna have more gadgets to throw at you very soon.
Just added this place to my list! Thanks for sharing bro 🙏
Absolutely! It’s a beautiful place for sure.
Some good looking tacos! Kind of you for the shout out. Enjoy your content! Keep it up. 👍🏻

What cups are you using for your coffee and cider?
Sea to Summit
I love your channel 😊
Appreciate the support 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hunter got a fresh cut!!!!
Sure did!
How effective is your 100 watt solar panel. On a sunny day, could it fully re-charge your Anker during the day?

What dog bed is that?
Black Lab Brands!
Are you originally from Montana?
Parents moved here when I was 2 years old. Been here 25+ years now so it’s all I know.
Disco!
It’s amazing. I am honestly hooked on this thing now.
