And we are not under the law of sin and death. That is not the Torah. We are still to obey Torah. Just read Matthew 4:4 Jesus confirms it. Hi, this is not judging or gossiping this is supposed to be an Easter sermon, but yet this is a prosperity sermon. This is it’s sad for those listening to this false teacher and it’s sad for him because one day he will stand before God and give account. What Corey is doing here is given a warning, which I believe is loving to those listening to this mess. The sad part is these people have Bibles, but are not opening them to read them. They would read Titus or Timothy. They would see that this man Jamal Bryant has been disqualified from ministry long ago. The saddest part is a few good words to make them feel good is dangerous enough to send them to hell. All he has to do on Resurrection Sunday is preach the gospel and the good news of our risen savior. this is not hypocritical judgment but righteous judgment, because this man continues to teach false and continue to teach heretical doctrine

This is what happens when you teach and preach the "One-sided gospel. One-sided gospel is God is a yess God and he does whatever you want. You can misbehave and he will still bless you. God loves you matter what. He going to give you any and everything you ask for. God has no standard nor will he correct you. All you get for bad behavior is grace mercy love compassion and forgiveness. This is how majority of the people see God. You can also treat people like crap because he loves you. St John Chrysostom's Easter Sermon is read on Easter by many traditions. It dates from the 4th Century and has stood the test of time, unlike so many other Easter sermons delivered these days. if you have never heard it, I recommend reading or listening to it.

The people in Jamal's congregation are standing up, crying, and getting all emotional because they want the Lord to do for them what they are not willing to do for themselves. I would also argue that they are not willing to turn from their sinful ways. Sin keeps us bound. Another thing is that not only is it evident that those folk are not reading/studying the Bible, they are not even thinking.
Eater is not the death and resurrection. Passover is his death and then 3 days later, not Easter, he rose.
Easter is not celebrated by Christ or the disciples.
And also, no mention of unleavened bread, which was a week long festival celebrated by Christ and his followers. These are not Jewish holidays. They are Gods holy days.
And we are not under the law of sin and death. That is not the Torah. We are still to obey Torah. Just read Matthew 4:4 Jesus confirms it. Not to mention James and Paul kept and taught Torah. 1 John 3:4 sin is transgression of the law. The law Paul warns us about is the oral law and traditions. Plus the law of sin and death- which is opposed to Torah.
