Renegade 45XL DBM. Freightliner Cascadia. Just went south Florida to the mountains in colorado 2300 miles. No tornados, but 50+MPH crosswinds for 100 miles in Oklahoma. Just steer into the wind and great tracking. Not glitzy like Newmar (traded 2024 London Aire for Renegade). But, the fit and finishes on the inside are extraordinary. Padded vinyl walls…no cheap wallpaper. Great heat, AC, floor heat-fast response. 7 1/2’ ceilings throughout. Firefly displays are way ahead of competition. Totally intuitive. It’s like driving a half ton SUV. Renegade XL is a beauty and a beast.

I like that you stay true to your mission and haven't gone the way of becoming a "advocates" for many causes that the other two largest RV channels have become. It's mostly advertisements on their merchandise they sell now. Very disappointed they went that way. I get enough junk mail in my mailbox for that. Hi there, we love your channel and insights into the RV world. We have a comment on your comments about the RVs built on the S2 RV chassis not being a "true" Super C because it isn't on a "True" Truck Chassis.
We owned a 2015 Jayco Seneca, it was built around the Freightliner M2 Business Chassis, would this be considered a "True" Super C? We put 50k miles on it so we think we got to know the rig pretty well. We now own a Renegade Valencia which as you know is built around the Freightliner S2 RV Chassis. (according to you guys, not a true Super C) This chassis has a higher towing capacity, more horse power and a lot more torque than our old Seneca. Plus we get 100 gal of fuel versus the 75 gal on the M2 chassis, one side fuel fill which that in and of itself is worth the change, rear air breaks, and air ride. We probably could have bought a Verona but for the extra 70k, we didn't think we were getting much more other than towing capacity and if you do not need the added 20k towing why would you spend the 70k. And one of our biggest "turn offs" on the Verona was the M2 Chassis which the Verona was build on. Going back to dual fuel tanks was not an option . Anyway, we see quite a few other posts ragging on you guys about "True" Super Cs, we figured we would chime in. We love our Valencia and building these on the S2 chassis to us was a HUGE plus.

My favourite super c hasn’t been designed yet and, isn’t available (c’mon Newell 🤭), if I had to pick it would be Showhauler though. However, I would want to challenge them by asking for improvements that I don’t see in the market yet.
So here’s a question for you two guys (maybe a subject for one of your future videos), what improvements would your viewers like to see that aren’t yet available in the market?
For instance, a set of vertically stacked solar panels that cantilever out over the awnings. How many solar panels could you fit on a roof if you designed it this way rather than laying them down like a carpet whilst restricting access etc…
And don’t even get me started on why all the equipment fitted on the roof penetrates it to fix it, actively encouraging water damage. 😖😳🧐. There are definitely better manufacturing designs and processes! 🤭😉👍🏻

Have been enjoying your videos for a while now. I have a deposit on a 2023 MY Renegade Verona 36 VSB, so for our budget, preferences, and priorities it's our #1 choice. Can't argue with the Showhauler as your #1 but doubt you could buy one for under $600,000 once options added. After years of research, even in these times of inflated prices, for the best value I believe the Verona line is hands down a great choice for Super C buyers without an unlimited budget. IMO Newmar's newest entries don't merit #2 ahead of Renegade. Thinking it is a very niche market perhaps for Class A owners who have soured on their rig's drive quality? Lots of glitz and more up to date interior for sure, but lots of extra weight on the same Freightliner chassis and Cummins engine as the Veronas. Not a fan of that over the cab window which will let in lots of heat. Biggest concern is the full wall slide that could compromise the structural integrity of the rig with a hole that large. Maybe you can address this in a future video? Also don't think it is a good idea having plumbing on the slide side. A lot more $$$ mainly for fancy. BTW, am a bit confused about which way YOU are going. First it seemed Super C (the Explorer or Classic?), then back to the Class A for the space, and now maybe the Showhauler (because this RUclips business is doing so great :) ?

1942 or showhauler. It’s not even a question

Show Hauler is too bland for me . We are looking at the Verona Le. In my eyes the fit and finish is hard to beat.

Look beyond the shiny cabinets and floor at the build behind what you don’t see. Showhauler is at the top.

The drivability of the showhauler sucks. If you like to make Austin Power turns this is the rig for you.
