LUNGE BIRDS | AXIE CLASSIC META 2025 | FEATHER SPEAR BIRD
While I was playing double bird, I was wondering whether Lunge birds would be good, so I looked into my inventory and assembled a team to test. I would say that even though my Axies are not perfect, the only thing I’m missing to destroy the meta teams is enough Bug and Beast artifacts.
For the back, I chose this bird. It has Tri Feather as a zero-cost card, Feather Spear to fit the team and trigger the 20% damage increase, Peace Maker, and Grandma's Fan. Although it has Bug ears and only 58 speed, this is not a big issue, as pure birds are not very common, and most players are using Dawns.
The midline bird is great, and I believe the reptile eyes are even an upgrade here, as it still has 57 speed to match pure Dawns and Aquas but also has more health points. Considering that when we play a random set of four cards, it has 120 shield, it is quite durable for a bird.
Cottontail is important here, as the team needs energy gain. Of course, Feather Spear is a must, and any two high-damage bird cards for the mouth and back would be good. My bird has Raven and Peace Maker. Having double Peace Maker in the team increases durability, as opponents hit the bird with an attack debuff.
My front is not amazing, but I don’t have a better one. Goldfish is not bad for outplaying opponents, but it lacks damage and shield. I would rather play Sandal or Bone Sail here.
