Simplistic? As soon as that white lid came off to show that electrical maze, I thought omg this that PhD shit - easyness factor went out the window for me 😂😭
Great build! best i have seen in a while. Just 1 suggestion, drill some breathing holes in your wooden bed panels. long term the moisture build up will create mold under the mattress with out them. It was a big job fixing this issue after it already happy
This is one of the best builds I've ever. It is very well-thought-out. I like that you built around items that you are using. It looks very clean and tidy great job. 👍
I had my name on a waiting list for a Toyota sienna for quite a while. I just got a call that it’s available. This particular build looks exactly like what I want. Thank you very much.
@@jarvans6495 love this! I just bought a 1998 Sienna, the previous owner got as far as removing all but the front passenger seat; laid down foam insulation board with laminate flooring glued on; she had a friend build a simple narrow bed frame with 3/4: ply on bottom and top! It is not attached in any way and as I have a service dog I can't risk it moving around, its pretty heavy if I have to put the brakes on! It is also so tall I can't sit on the bed without bending my head over and I am only 5 ft tall! So I want to get it replaced or adapted. I guess the 1inch foam also raises the bed frame up that bit higher. The places where seats and seat belts were attached, on floor, are all covered up with the foam and flooring as it is one piece, I wondered about removing it and cutting holes then reinstall, so I could attach things securely to fastenings.. How do you attach your bed to the van? and the 'cabinet, too. Will be thankful for any advice! Definitely going to get some crates for storage, brilliant idea.
Thanks for sharing - Currently working on a 2002 Sienna - This helps my so-called craftsman visualize how the fan can be transformed... They've NEVER seen this happen before, actually laugh me off - Thanks for a very nice layout and design - Just wish you showed some of the tear down in this or maybe another video
I think Drifta has organizer bags for inside milk crates…some with clear tops to see contents easily. Good for items you don’t want getting caught in milk crate holes or falling through. I think there are N.A. distributors.
Best ever 1st Gen Toyota Sienna CamperVan VanLife build out tour it works well for years 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 Thanks for your time, explanation & quality design
Looks amazing ! But , i prefer the fridge would be behind the front seat , and the “ oven would be at the back door to reduce the gas ugly smell and reduce the “ risk “
Typically at camp sites or BLM I would be cooking outside anyway on a table out the rear, so would just want handy access to the fridge out the back. I like this layout for that reason.
Been looking at builds for over a year now. Absolutely love yours! I'm 63 and a camper van is my dream. Nice and neat, simple. Hope to implement your ideas eventually. Thanks for sharing. We'll done!!!
Great build. A suggestion, you could put a piano hinge for the bed extender. That way you can flip it open simply with one hand. No need for the pins also.
Wow watching these and my wife’s ‘99 sitting in the street has 105k contemplating on refreshing it. I must say it’s a great foundation having a 3.0L 1 Mz-fe engine pretty bulletproof. Nowadays one can pick up for less than 4K.
Fantastic build!! I just picked up a 2003, last of the Gen 1. I think that I'll be using your plan, with a few modifications. I have an electric flush porta potty that I want to squeeze in. Great stuff! Thanks again for sharing this with us.
Great build! Love the simplicity & clean lines of the design. I would add a table/counter that connects onto an RV table rail at the back hitch/bed. And have the table platform supported by a leg or hiking pole on the ground to have outside surface area flexibility.
As a family who camps I have found it’s more of an actual holiday with a permanently packed kitchen - especially a utensil roll (that hangs) with the usual lifter, tongs, spoon along with a couple knives in sheaths & a thin stack of sporks. Scissors! We have been able to stack SS dishes in with nested pots (removeable handle). And a bathroom bag of spices. T-fal Ingenio set of 3 SS nested pots cheaper than magma. Joseph Joseph nesting containers.
Thanks! At the time I recorded this, I was waiting for my battery to come in so I borrowed a buddy’s that he had in storage. So that’s why it’s still got the plastic bag on it. But good idea nonetheless!
Hi. I’m just starting to think in terms of using a “car” conversion instead of getting a van style vehicle, and this is perfect. Deb from Oz (Australia)

Buy an all in one unit. No fuss. I love my Bluetti.
I love how you used the milk crates! The electrical systems are amazing. What a great build.
Thanks so much!
Great job I love the idea of milk crate supporting the bed extension is just genius
Thanks!

Thank you! And great tip! Cheers
Or put down a layer of hypervent in-between the mattress & the plywood
Its a springy meshlike layer that provides ventilation under your matress.
Love the clean, simple, and highly functional build. ‼️❣️😊
Love the two 5 gallons for fresh 💧 water 💧 and a smaller 1 gallon for grey water. 👍🏼
I absolutely LOVE this build!
The best Sienna conversion build I have seen. Well done
Thank you!
Perfect set up...
This is one of the best builds I've ever. It is very well-thought-out. I like that you built around items that you are using. It looks very clean and tidy great job. 👍
AGREE!...super build. I've watched many and there are always a few things I like but not all. This one I like 100 % - glad I stopped in.
Thank you!!

very impressive build. The attention to function and comfortable welcoming interior. Really brilliant. thanks for sharing
Thank you very much!!
Really nice build. Love those milk crates, makes life easier, and looks clean inside how they fit.
Thank you!!

Best build I have seen. Very neat and organized. A place for everything and everything in its place!
Glad you like it!
Simply nice! Thanks for that tip about the lower table for the stove. I will definitely use it.
Thanks! And glad it gave you an idea😊
I seriously love how you used the milk crates for storage. I hadn't thought of that but might need to do so for my future build.
So many great ideas. I would also be attaching a TailVeil off the back for extended stays and outdoor weather protection. Well done.
Thanks! Good idea!
what's a tailVeil pls?
You made some really good choices I like it it’s simple it’s very usable … nice job.
Really appreciate it!

Good luck with your buildout! Maybe we’ll show some clearing out on the next van😎

Genius! I absolutely love the simplicity of your clever design. Thanks for sharing!!

Your common sense approach is refreshing .
Liked- subbed & hit bell icon .
We have a 2014 Sienna and love your ideas .
Best wishes from Daytona Beach.
Thank you David! We will be coming out with new videos, as well as a website with layout plans for purchase soon. Cheers!
Great use of the crates. Very well thought out use of space. Thanks for posting.
Awesome electrical set up
What a fabulous well thought out use of space and electrical system. I would want the larger inverter though.
Thank you! And yeah the nutribullet would be cherry on top!
This is a fantastic build, great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
You did a beautiful job on this van! Thanks for the video!
Thank you!!
This blew my mind, so well thought out and beautiful
Great job on you build. You did a fine job filming and demonstrating at the same time.
Nice! I love the milk crates incorporated in the build.
Very clever and very simple. Great build.
Fantastic set up and so well thought out 👍 Thank you for sharing, I absolutely love it 🥰

I wouldn’t say it was so easy. That electrical system looks pretty hard.
Clever kitchen cab. I like the side shelf!
Great build. A suggestion, you could put a piano hinge for the bed extender. That way you can flip it open simply with one hand. No need for the pins also.
You could….but would have to remove the wooden lip that goes over the extended crates …otherwise you are sitting on the wood piece.🤣
Well thought out and functional build.
Kudos.
FYI you have plenty of space for a much larger inverter, ie; 1500w +
What a great little conversion! Well done.

Very nice build! So clean and sensible!
This is one of the best conversions I've seen!
Clever and classy! I’ll be saving your video to my van life wishlist!
Ditto!
Beautiful ! Simple, efficient, practical, cost effective, especially like the location of butane cooker & use of milk crates, thanks
Thank you!
Wow simple elegance. Love it.

I can see with one or two adults it’s easier to pack…but even then hubby & I always forgot something.
Terrific build! Well thought out!
Best one handed video.
There is much to this small space! If you are not going to Live full time in it but use it for travel - I would go for this!
One of the best builds I've seen!!
Thank you!
Love the built, you should take out the cover plastic on the battery to permit cool off
Thanks! At the time I recorded this, I was waiting for my battery to come in so I borrowed a buddy’s that he had in storage. So that’s why it’s still got the plastic bag on it. But good idea nonetheless!
One of the best I've seen.
Awesome job. Gives me a lot of great ideas for my build. 😊

Really Really like your build. Very nicely done.
Thank you very much!
I really like this setup, I'll think I'll do it.
Front passenger seat swivel would be killer...
Nice clean smart design.
Nice. It would be great if the burner would also fit under the driver's seat so you have more galley storage.
Best set up ever.
Really well thought out !
Nice work, thanks for posting. I don't think that bed will fit two, however.
Great use of space! Would annoy me setting up the bed all the time though lol
This is beautiful!!!
Super construção, simples e pratica - muito bom

Awesome build 💯🔥✌️
Thanks!
This is exactly what you need when traveling. The best thing is to be able to pull over, put in your jammies and go to sleep 💤😴💤😴
Love The milk crates
