The other knew a DA and thought they wanted to be a prosecutor, they were an assistant DA for a while but saw so much dishonesty from the police that they switched to family law. But the person he worked for tried to make sure the divorce went through, and that they billed to the maximum. So finally he switched to civil law, and criminal defense, because he can sleep at night knowing he's not harming people. He has his own law firm now.

Did you know that Tacopina actually represented the J6 defendant that was accused of lethally attacking Officer Sicknick? In Tacopina's defense of his J6 defendant in both written motions and oral arguments to the judge, Tacopina argued that his client's presence at the Capitol was100% Trump's fault for lying about the election being stolen AND for ordering his defendant to go to the Capitol saying he "needed to show his strength and to not be weak in order to take back this country." Tacopina argued that it was Trump, not his client, who is responsible for everything that happened at the Capitol that day, and his defendant believed he was simply following order given to him by the President of the United States.

Some do, one of my friends intentionally went into patent law because she was unhappy with how patent trolls were ripping off companies. Now she works for the government as a patent lawyer. The other knew a DA and thought they wanted to be a prosecutor, they were an assistant DA for a while but saw so much dishonesty from the police that they switched to family law. But the person he worked for tried to make sure the divorce went through, and that they billed to the maximum. So finally he switched to civil law, and criminal defense, because he can sleep at night knowing he's not harming people. He has his own law firm now.
