Hey, great video! What is your favorite primer? I saw that you used Ammo One Shot Primer in the past - are you still satisfied with it? Unfortunately, the last one I bought is practically impossible to paint with. It clogs the airbrush very quickly and is incredibly difficult to clean off.

Nice. It’s an older M1-A1HA without the APU unit at rear of turret bustle. But nice job and like the anti skid coating you made. Looks like a Tamiya kit.
I used X-14 Sky Blue and X-8 Yellow for the flags on my Ukrainian T-72 they came out great, so if anyone couldn't get the MIG paint those look just as good. Love the weathering you did as well.
I live near the plant they'll be "retrofitted" at, a few thing's I'd like to point out for those who only came here BECAUSE of Ukraine 1. The Abrams's will lose the depleted uranium armor, and will get a lesser, but still good tungsten based armor. 2. They'll lose ALOT of there current tech to not only simplify it, but also prevent the tech from getting into our enemies hands 3. They'll be in Ukraine next year. Don't confuse ANY train with tanks on them for Ukraine bound, as they're likely headed to maintenance in Ohio, or storage.

Great job! Probably in reality they will come in three-tone NATO camo but if it will be desert camo, Ukrainians will repaint them in their pixel scheme.
There doing them in the Nato scheme seen one ready to go out of the first 11 to head over with a mine clearing system like Tamyias other mine sweeper kit has with it! It looked so fresh with the new paint job! They have upgraded the m88A3 Hercules to send over to for recovery so don't fall into Russian hand's so they added a 7th road wheel and done some major upgrades! I just hope AFV club take note and do a new M88 as we have them all but the Hercules! Nice job on the m1!
Awesome video Hank. Do air brush regulators degrade after long term non use? Mine has been packed away in the garage for over 10 years? Should I just buy another regulator? Thank you.
One way to find out! Break that thing out & give it a go! If anything has failed, it's probably dried out gaskets. I'm curious though... let me know how it goes!
Interesting project -- I've been thinking of the samev project with a Canadian Leopard 2. My only addition might beca Ukranian flag flying from an antenna or broom handle -- I've noticed that a lot. Bravo!

I've done an RFM challenge 2 but just one I seen getting loaded on a truck heading over its just in the reactive green and black camo no Ukraine markings as non on it but going to add some as a what if on the back of the turret at the side's whare you see the union jack flacks on each end! I've gotnthe Scotland badges on the side with no numbers some had a KFOR in black but very worn away!

Peace is not achieved with guns and weapons. I am for peace. History doesn't teach you. Think about what you have done for the WORLD and how you will appear before GOD and tell about your actions. You're a master at what you do, but you're also a human being.
I create military models, and this was a topical & relevant subject given the current situation. All military models are inherently political, in a way - this one just happens to be a little more recent. I also want peace in the world, of course - but sometimes the necessary steps have to be taken to achieve that peace (especially when an aggressor tries to take over a sovereign nation & people).

I wonder if the Ukraine Army will see you video and perhaps copy your paint scheme on the real tanks. Also I look forward to seeing American Armour go against The Soviet Armour in a real battle.
Why would you to contribute to UNHCR? They refused to deploy to the border area until summer and even then it was very little in terms of delivery only their own admin costs. There are many local NGOs where you can really help people in Ukraine even Ukrainian hobby associations who will deliver 100% of aid to Ukrainians. Happy to provide details.
That's a really dumb thing to do by politicising this hobby. Maybe you could make a diorama for my wife's uncle who was killed by Azov artillery walking to the shops in Donetsk in 2019???

All wars are political; these fantastic machines were a means to an end. If trying to support refugees is bad in a "political" way, I'm not sure what to tell you.
