I spent 6 months working on a cruise ship and helped with game show nights. Seth is legit good Lmao never loses sight that his rule is ultimately to keep score and keep game pace. The banter, help, etc all come secondary to that. Naturally killing it on both fronts
@@bondeulv It was very popular as Family Fortunes in the UK in the 80s and 90s, and was revived in 2020. Allegedly the original presenter Bob Monkhouse decided ‘fued’ was too mean, and so they went with fortunes instead.
One of the best podcast episodes of any of the Goldfish channels. The whole crew was here and was fun as a member of the community to vote on stuff and make our voices heard. Would love another episode sometime in the future
Wholeheartedly agree, everyone is here and having fun, Seth is a fantastic game show host, and it’s an interesting idea for a video! I hope they continue with ideas like this, quite inspired.
Seth: "We asked 100 people, what they think is going on in the Clergy en-Vec artwork" **Goldfish crew gives the obvious answer** **Seth stares at the camera as if this came completely unexpected**
It was really fun voting for these options as a member of the community and seeing our thoughts heard! I'd love to see more things like this in the future. Maybe having viewers voting on cards for bracket episodes and having that be the tiebreaker over ChatGPT? But considering the constant debates about the fog meta, swords to plowshares, paying the one, etc., it's interesting to see the community weigh in to see how many people each goldfish has been able to convince of their respective commander philosophies. Maybe as exclusive votes/sharing thoughts on the Goldfish Patreon for people who love the show as much as I do.
Phil reminds me of Dennis in the Family Feud episode of Always Sunny in Philadelphia. All of his answers were hyper specific to his own experience and incredibly obscure haha
And it was Charlie with the specific answers and he took the survey… Dennis got tripped up cause he couldn’t thing of any non #1 answer and Dee guessed them all, it was funny cause after Dee guesses they only needed 5 points and Charlie’s answers would’ve gotten them the win
@@cell7514 Well Charlie got the answers right because he took the survey in a mall and seeded his weird answers unknowingly. In this podcast version, Phil was giving the Commander card equivalent of Dennis’ Sea Urchin answer and there were several times when the others let out exasperated sounds of surprise because his answers were so obscure haha
LOL I was like “What is this crew smoking that is causing them to overlook one of the most supported and populated creature types in the game?!” Then again Zombos not being on the board at all had me second-guessing the intelligence of the poll-takers lol.
I’ve watched/listened to most of the Commander Clash podcasts and this was hands down my favorite episode thus far! I was grinning the whole time and loved it. Please do something like this again!
This episode was so good that I think you guys should seriously consider splitting this idea off into its own series! I'd watch all kinds of game shows themed around mtg with this lovely crew. Seth was a delightful host as well. Great stuff!
This is one of the better episodes you guys have done, thanks for the work you did in preparation for this and for everyone else who participated in the survey!
This was fun, it was cool seeing all five of you together. You guys have good enough chemistry to be entertaining even without directly playing commander.
My older brother just had another minor stroke the other day and its been hard on me and my family lately. Thank you for this fun video. It made me smile instead of crying for a change. Thank you goldfish crew. ❤
This was great, so definitely more like this please. And if I remember correctly, you've still got a bunch of questions outstanding that were asked ready for a second episode. Feud on!
This was super fun, but really it was Richard’s attitude that did it for me. I think he’s been preparing for family feud for a long while and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Killed it!!! I love basically all of your content but y’all absolutely crushed it with this! What a great idea and an amazing episode! Please do this again.
This episode was SUPER DUPER fun. Would love to see this come back again. I would suggest fixing the point system somehow so you're not incentivized to score 0 in cases the other team steals the points.
Pretty cool episode. I liked the change of pace and the brief bits of role play. Would like to see it again, but not just limited to family feud but versions on other game shows would be fun to watch/listen to as well
This was a great episode and is a concept I'd love to see expanded on with other MTGGoldfish channels. You could do feuds on Modern, and even about the history of Standard to get a mix of new and old answers (i.e what was the best block, most broken standard, etc.)
This is one of my favorite pieces of Magic content in a long time. Well done! Would be fun to see this again next year and see how things change over time.
I didn't really expect to enjoy this all that much but honestly loved it. I know there was a lot of work involved here but would love to see more episodes like this in the future
I do usually listen to the podcast on a podcast app, but I liked this one so much that I just came here to like and comment. Hope there'll be a sequel sometime.
The "win the game" category made me happy. I actually currently run Helix Pinnacle in my Raggadragga deck (honestly more to power it down for my pod) and Barren Glory/O-ring was literally added to my first Commander deck ever when it was printed, Palladia-Mors.
Loooved it! Thanks for experimenting with content formats, guys. I'm addicted to the MTG shows for my comfort food, but the games and the set reviews get a little repetitive. This brought a some laughs and made fore a nice evening.
Seth has really found his calling as a game show host
He did amazing
For real, this had me smiling and laughing the whole time
I spent 6 months working on a cruise ship and helped with game show nights. Seth is legit good Lmao never loses sight that his rule is ultimately to keep score and keep game pace. The banter, help, etc all come secondary to that. Naturally killing it on both fronts
I usually get annoyed a Seth a bit (sorry :p), yet he's actually really good at this and makes an entertaining host.
1000%
Crim being Richard's son has been the funniest bit on the podcast 😂
I want to call him Crimothy irl now
Kid Codi! 🐠🐠🐠
"Crimothy, son of Richard"
So wrong but so funny 😂😂😂
When he said he's taking him out of the will if he guessed wrong 😂
Tomer: "I'm a farmer in upstate Europe" I spat out my tea bursting out laughing, this is gold.
Just laughed out loud after this and came to the commentsection, to see if someone commented on it
I love Phil so much. "Did everyone else just come with a story to tell?"
I was thinking to myself, poor Phil, so funny.
Family Feud isn't a game show most Europ-ians know of. Unless they've watched Dawn Guard on Desert Bus for Hope the past few years 😁
@@bondeulv in Germany there was an exact recreation even called "Familienduell" 😅

He had a real Steve Harvey moment 😂
Wild that Changelings made it onto the best creature type list when Changeling isn't even a creature type.
I got heated over this
All creatures with changeling do have the changeling creature type...🤔
@@LeoPowers-c6k No, they have the "Shapeshifter" creature type. ;-)
@@vinwonsenobiTo be fair when you think Changeling, you also think Shapeshifter so I get why the mistake was made.
Seth being Steve Harvey is extremely flavorful given their shared gift for pronunciation 😂
Well, he's missing the overly colorful suits. That's more of the Professor's thing.
Thankfully Seth is missing the whole being a homophobic bigot thing
This format is an absolute delight. An all-timer of an episode.
This is top-tier content. Love it!
Edit: Seth missed an opportunity to stare befuddled into the camera like Steve Harvey does 😂
Ha, next time ;)
11:44 i see Tomer is using the very advanced farming technique of salting the ground which I’m sure is yielding the correct results
Was thinking that too.
Its what plants need, lol
It's got electrolytes!@@jamiekuryla3940
That explains his plants.
Some plants actually enjoy a saltier atmosphere, but I don't know anything about turnips in regards to that

Upvote so the boys see this
This was amazing. I was screaming elves at my phone during the best creature type question
Yeah!
Right?!
And here I thought Eldrazi 😢
@@dafewgerI was thinking gods.
That question was rigged. Changeling isn't a type.

This was so much fun to watch!! I was on the edge of my seat at that last planeswalker for the steal.

I watch every weeks episode. This is probably one of my favorites. Would love to see it again at some point in the future.
I was SCREAMING elves during that category, Phil is only one using that big brain 😂😂 I was so stressed
