Good video Lee I am a Carpro fan boy lol Good insight on Cquarts lite Will be giving this a shot on three family SUVs soon as I get my other two detailing toys
Good job! I’m taking delivery of a new car soon and will use CarPro ceramic to enhance and maintain the paint. Do any tasks, materials, or techniques differ for new paint?
If you mean like decals or vinyl stickers then I would say carpro skin is the better option as thats designed to be applied to vinyl wraps. Lite and 3.0 are mainly for car paint
No it doesn't...You can ipa the surface after the prep and apply or if you do paint correction follow with ipa and move on to application. Essence is a primer if you don't wanna use ipa but in my opinion I dont see the need for it just use regular polish/compound and then ipa wipe before application 👍
@@autoexquisitedetail7706 Ive been using mothers CMX as a standalone product on my Peterbilt. Ive been really.impressed with its durability and performance on a vehicle that sees hundreds of km on gravel roads every week. I might switch too the CQ Lite and use the mothers cmx as a maintenance topper for this truck.
Excellent video, Lee.
I really enjoy your presentations. Thank you!!

Can I use cquartz lite & 3.0 on bike or car body graphics?

Does it require essence as a primer?

Can you apply this to the glass?
Yes it can be applied to almost any exterior surface including glass but just not the windscreen. You can use flyby forte for the windscreen.
how many drops for headlights
About one line on the applicator more than enough for each headlight. You basically want a even thin layer over the surface same as the paint
@@autoexquisitedetail7706 thanks

Will two layers of lite last for one year ?
I would say a little over 6 months the two recommended layers are rated for 6+ months
Didnt realise it had TI02 and SI02
Yeah its a hybrid formula. So even though its a lite version the TiO2 is the reason it has such good chemical resistance
