The thing that amazes me the most is that players like Harden and Westbrook put together crazy numbers, but they really monopolize the game & they kinda choose a sub-set of offensive situations (westbrook transition and p&r, harden p&r & iso). Jokic generates numbers in the flow of the game: he receives the ball, attacks, pass, move, cut, get a screen, make a screen, receive the ball, plays a 2-men game, occasionally punishes mismatch

@@mcbuckets813 he never played so low and he played always with some pretty low rated players and always put his team in a high place, for me he is best player for about last 3 years and without question, problem is with media and the NBA politic he just isn t intreresting like others and he is Serbian in fact.

Jokic is just aware of where his pieces are set, he could see the weak side defenders, hence the only one who could come for the steal was the one on the strong side and it meant Rivers was free in the corner. He didn't need to see him

Па није знао, него чим му је дошао са леђа, зна да је одбрамбени играч одиграо клаџу и напустио свог - зато се моментално окреће да нађе празног играча. Ово је чак лаган пример, Јокић ради ово са чак трећим, тј. четвртим играчем у одбрани, када нпр. игра пик и Гордона преузима тамо неки трећи из ћошка, он баца лопту нпр. на Бартона и кажњава. Једноставно је поткован школом кошарке да све то види брзо и с његовим златним рукама то делује као магија. Раде то и Пол, и Дончић и Леброн. Али све то пада у воду ако знање које му је дао Милојевић, Ђорђевић, Мелоун не врати мало и својој земљи.

Officiating of the game was bad. At the end both Jokic and Aldridge were shooting FTs for some bullshit calls, killed the vibe. Boogie Cousins got techical and ejection after some milder reaction. So bad that in Europe we don't have such a quality of basketball, but these referees wouldn't survive one game in Serbia, Greece, Turkey with this level of entitlement and bizarre judgment and authority. I don't know why NBA players don't organise and protest or demand changes. This progressive SOFTNESS we see everywhere literally took over NBA as well. You see 250 pounds people getting disciplined by average refs. Atmosphere is non existent. Coaches and players are monitored on timeouts and they care about language. So funny, sometimes I have a hard decision to make if I want to watch a display of beauty and skills of Jokic (e.g.) but compensate with childhood calls, pop corn time-outs, unimportant mid game interviews, and girly behaviour...

The Refs of this age are not about calling the game the right way is about them just wanting to be the authority figure. Is not about basketball is about them not getting their feeling hurts while 10 players are fighting each other with passion,energy and desire to win. They just want to feel as the powerful on top of those players instead of doing your job.
The job of a refs is to be as invisible is humanly possible. When you fail at this, then you failed at your job as ref. I keep saying over and over again. The NBA should straight up firing the Ref association and just hire the ones from FIBA or send all those mediocre refs to a intensive training camp with the refs at europe on yearly basics so they those refs finally learn how to call a basketball game
