Hi, I went to walk-in clinic for my acid reflux, they gave me prescription and some exam, after that, they referred me to a specialist but I have to wait till July of next year to get my stomach check, while I'm getting diarrhea. After that, I found a family doctor but they don't accept my appointment because I already in the process with the walk-in clinic. They said I have to continue the process with the walk-in clinic which takes me a year to be checked up. How can I switch to family doctor? , I'm a new comer in Canada so I haven't known much about this yet. Thank you
After how long you got family doctor after Healthcare connect registration?
After you get your health card (OHIP) you can look for the doctor in your locality who is taking new patients.
