I just discovered your channel. WOW. This unreal. GREAT job young man.
Thanks
lol everyone whining about your welds. Whatever man, clearly they held. Nice press, sucker is strong
That things a BEAST ! Good job.
What a monster GREAT JOB!
Maybe I am just easily impressed but did any one notice that the guy doing this seems to be 15-16. admittedly with some labor help but you guys are critiquing a young man not a seasoned machinist.
Another limit switch on a quick adjustment then the press wont go up all the way constantly.
this would work as an iron worker. Make a shear module, bending dies all day long and a punching head.
What you have there is excellent.
Extrem powerfull wery nice work now you can make a lot of damascus knives 🤣
thanks!
That things a monster
I'm impressed Son.
I don't suppose you offer a parts list for this project?
Very nice press, much faster than mine. But similar in size and style. .
fast and lots of power
That pump looks expensive! Nice build!
that is so awesome. great job!
Vincent Sisk thanks 😃
Nice press you made.
Great great great work !! You build fantastic things ! Now you can forge lot of damascus hammers... 😉
thanks a lot .))
yes a lot of fun damascus projekts comming up on the channel
Joe the Builder cool !! The part one of my belt grinder build gonna be upload soon to 😉
la forge montagnarde
Cool !
Looking forward to that
Joe the Builder thanks 😉
Great job Joe awesome way to go very impressive
Amazing job, tired of welding or grinding for a while lol!!! That monster is gonna last a lifetime
I love your job ...!
Because I was small like you
Your job is excellent and accurate
Keep your hero
Impressive Joe - that is one monster of a forging press - congrats on a terrific build.
Rick Rabjohn Thanks bro
Don't listen to the negative comments, your welding will work/hold for that application. If the weld breaks you can just weld it again (I doubt it will). What is the source for the die plate holders? Those look nicely machined.
From where did you purchase the cylinders and motor from? I can’t seem to find any
I want tl know the cañacity and namef every element you use to meke this forge and were to buy it. Can some one know
Good job dude! How many tons is this press? I'm 14, looks like about your age, and hoping to make one of these.
BurlyWoodWorks 28 tons
Good luck with the project😃
Your MIG welding: You should be angling the nozzle, BEHIND your direction of motion, not ' following ' the arc. This, will preheat the metal going FORWARD, a little. Look for a fried bacon sound, from the arc, with about 1/2 inch of wire, from nozzle end, to arc/workpieces. There is a fine, balance, between wire speed, material thickness, and arc amperage. Most MIG welders, are only good to about 1/4 inch thick normal mild steel. .
Nice press for sure.
Too much fabrication is shown. 0 technical info on cylinders, pump and motor.
When cylinder is resting in the fully retracted position, is the pump under load and relief valve activated? Should be in a neutral position, oil free flowing back to tank. Not through relief valve.
Saya suka vidio anda ide anda kreatif..saya pandai besi juga..saya selalu nonton vidio anda..setahun terakhir ini
Wow that is incredibly powerful! Nice work 👍
Great job, great build. Really enjoyed watching you build this.
Maaf broo salam kenal saya dari indonesia..klw saya mau pesan sampai indonesia berapa harganya bosss
No disrespect. But how old are you? Do you look like a child but God damn you built A badass forge press
Wow how many tons ?
Great Build, Great video, great music. Big thumbs up! You're one of the first press builds I've seen using multiple hydraulic cylinders, so thanks for demonstrating that. I can't believe the top comments are just whining about the way the welds look...
instablaster.
is it 50t press ? Well, no matter.
GOD that's STRONG !
Distrust anyone who asks you to pay to know how much it cost them to make something. Sorry, general rule.
Joe congratulations the press that build it is awesome thank you for sharing with all of that look at your excellent jobs, thank you and have a good day.
A video that fast with so much cont but unable to make since of it is a waste of viewers time...slow Don dude
I don't get it, what is the purpose of building it way too powerful?
Now that's a POWERFUL press for sure. Great build.
Hi Guy. Do you have the project of this press in PDF or DWG?
Is not awsering questioms
Do any budy know if i can make one of this press to operate on my garage with 220 volt hidraulic pump, it work ok?, can you tell me what capacity i heve to buy the cillinders and pump?
Great job !!! Like and subscribe! I will make myself the same press. Hello from Russia!
Where can I get the plans for this? I seen a cadd lay out or something similar, I want to build one! That is awsome, 4 seems like a better option because of price and redundancy. If 1 fails your still good, even if 2 fail you can still keep working at a limited amount. So ya, that's a very good idea it seems.
Damn, nice machine. Think it just miiiiight be a little too much for forging though. It flattens the materials, but I think it'd destroy your work if doing Damascus. I could be wrong though, be interesting to find out.
my eye bleeding, please watch "how to mag welding" (mig = aluminium) ps. great project :)
Bad welding technique. Wire is too long from the tip of the nozzle. Stop weaving the weld, make multi passes is needed. You really need to make better welds on joints that will be under so much stress.
Отлично. Фантастика..!!! Есть чертежи???
please include a link to part one in the description
Congratulations on a well thought out and clean build. Very professional. The ancient engineer in me approves....and wants one. 😁
Boa noite. Qual o contato pra informações
Precio de esta maquina por favor
Cool project, but those welds are giving me cancer
Jesus Christ, lol. You might wanna use a flow control valve or limiter !! But I still wish I had one!!!
Sweet press Bud, better than the rest......but.......with respect..... please.....PLEASE.....do a welding evening class !!!
Very nice design! Great work! What type of control valve? It is a momentary or auto return? I have two big power hammers but I also use my press. My valve is foot or hand operated but it is one way only. Would be a game changer to switch the valve!
Nice Press, Cool Dad, Not everyone has the skill to pass on, But its great when they do.
As a favor can you say where you got the parts and names of parts, in that I would like to made a press as well but am still learning about hydraulics?
⚙️🔩🔧⚒️ Very nice project 🛠️, great video 🎥 !! _ Congratulations! 👍 🇧🇷
Is there a way to get the plans for this?
Tyler Shields the plans Will be on my Instagram tomorrow

Tyler Shields
Good job
As soon as I have a workshop again, I'll buy that plans. Thanks
Good job. As long as the welds hold who gives a damn what they look like. Welding a bead and laying nickels and dimes comes in time. As my dad always said, you have welders and grinders.
The welding on this looks like a bird came by and took a huge shit on it...good design though.
Great build! Wish I had the encouragement that you obviously have when I was your age. Your dad deserves a thumbs up too. Hope you went back and did more than single pass welds on that H-frame that will be containing almost 60,000 lbs of force. A failure under that kind of pressure is like an explosion. I'll be subscribing and looking forward to your Damascus work.
AndTheCorrectAnswerIs
Thanks bro appreciate it :)
If this has 3 inch cylinders at 3000psi a pretty standard pump pressure you are looking at almost 85,000 lbs and they look more like 4 inch and if that is the case it is just over 150,000lbs. He has 4 cylinders. radius x radius x pii x psi x 4 cylinders. I would definitely add a few passes.
Better make up some spacers that's a powerful press. pressed that metal like it was butter lol!
too much, way too much, would work better with half the power and you would have much more control, do you intend to cold press Titanium ?
There is no such thing as a too powerful press. Plus I can control the amount of force it produce
Any plans for the press?
Can you make actual "accurate" parts with this? Like the drop forging of parts, can that be done on a hydraulic press?
Are you welding in galvanized H beams? Indoors with no ventilation? :O
why cant i find the plans, need to know displacement of oil , motor rating, etc, looked at instagram but its not a format im familiar with, great build btw
dark orkodi please look here: gentilblacksmithing.dk/webshop/7-tool-drawings-amp-3d-files/
Good Job man. Is it possible to forge an air planishing hammer die?.
Congratulations for this job !. What is the pushing force of this press?
Exelente, que harían los herreros de antaño con esta tecnología, que asombroso, fantástico
Does press stressing the metal so quickly make a difference to the quality vs machine hammer forging?
MrBobberino01 no the press doesn't change the quality of the final product
Nice! But moving too fast for forging as for me..
beau travail mais quelle est la puissance du groupe moteur/pompe/verrins et quelle est la force en tonne merci
nicely done.. a bit aggressive though don't you think?
Awesome work! I'm building one soon. Nice fab skills and video!
What is the use of a press?
Blacksmithing
@@gentilknives8907 its shortcutting in my opinion but seriously what use is there for it
@@ethanshenk2058 I would love for you to try to forge out a 5 kg Damascus billet with a hammer and an anvil, if you think it will be shortcutting using a press
@@gentilknives8907 if i had the materials and the time i definitely would
Thanks! Looked at your Instagram page, and the drawing are great but can you give us the specifications for the hydraulic rams and pump pleeese!
BAW please look here: gentilblacksmithing.dk/webshop/7-tool-drawings-amp-3d-files/
much too strong.
Wish to live in the States, seems that everything is cheap there...where I live a single piece of steel cost you an eye...sad.
Mario Isaac Larrinaga Higuera he lives in denmark. It's not easy getting things in denmark either. Expensive af
If you were to sell it. How much would you ask for it?
Parabéns amigo gostei muito do seu trabalho. E obrigado pela ajuda no meu profeto
Wow 👍💪 strong ,,nice
Can you give us some info on the hydraulic system and cylinder info please
dustin hearst please look here: gentilblacksmithing.dk/webshop/7-tool-drawings-amp-3d-files/
Que cágados de pombo 🕊🕊🕊🕊
Most satisfying hydraulic forge press.
I kinda tell yer paint jab is better then yer weldden !
отличная работа. хороший пресс. лайк. молодец.
what kind of welding is this?
Wow! I am impressed! Ever consider making one and selling it? I’m in the market after using one on Forged in Fire!
Why not build your own. it is a pretty simple concept if you know how to weld. The hydros are real simple. You do not need one this big either. 4 cylinders is way overkill and that 3 phase pump he has to have to get the flow rate is not cheap.
Great video! Been looking for a video like this for a long time. Will the plans that you said you are going to post have a list of the bits that you bought to put it together. I do hope so! Would love to make one like it! Keep up the good work.
you can find the plans on my instagram

You can ordre the drawings in my webshop: gentilblacksmithing.dk/webshop/7-tool-drawings-amp-3d-files/
Wonderful, wonderful work!!!
awesome build, im very impressed but how many tons does it put out?
28 tons
Can i forging bronze metal
What was the cost
How much is too much power?
That is an impressive machine.
Well Done!
👍
Very impressive indeed. I had to sub.
What is the total cost?
