Columbus had a pretty solid goalie, but his positioning and hesitation on crosses is brutal. Almost cost his team 5 goals and did cost his team 2 from it lol

this is why the u.s national team sucks, they get the worse players. These players get past two defenders then have the worst shot ever. As someone who also plays mls next we need to really level the game
I mean it’s the u-17 team 90 percent of the team ain’t getting signed this ain’t even both team b team plus these kids play English u17 teams and sometimes beat them
I saw people in thr comments saying that mls next sucks and such and such . And they aren't wrong but they aren't right either like you still have to realize these are 14 and 15 year old kids possibly even younger so technically and tactically they aren't that great . But to there point in other places around thr world the pay to play system doesn't exist so in the US its still about money and until thats gone you will never get the best talent or best players going into this sport. And the players that can will take the route of football and basketball that will pay them way more then they'll get paid in the states
unfortunately that's the club soccer system that the US has developed. These academies cost well over 5k to play in and with the high cost of living present in a lot of US states it's very difficult for players who don't have the money to join an academy, and sometimes players who really aren't near the academy level will be playing.
Funny how a player blatantly dives and the commentators are like “oh yeah got to be a pen.” Seems like commentators everywhere can tell what’s a foul anymore

I play in a decent level team in France u16 (highest level of my age)we play against academies like Toulouse or Montpellier i’m not saying my team would beat them but i can confidently say these u17 are getting crushed by u16 from Toulouse and if we talk about the higher level in u17 wich is u17 national these guys are losing to bottom teams
Defo one of the worst matches i've seen in a while, no sense of urgency what so ever, defenders too scared to tackle midfielders watching the ball. I know it's under 17's but cmon man these lads should be more energetic.
the double nutmeg is insane
how were there not 10 goals in this game? So many chances gone a begging
