  • This is the WFX Fit rest that is required to have to become a FireRanger (Wildland firefighter). The National passing time is 14:30 and the Ontario Standard is 17:15, my time in the video was 12:51 if you would like to compare pace time.

      Deb Goatcher no problem! The goal was to put the whole test up because of the lack of quality videos out there demonstrating what the whole thing looks like. Glad I could help! Good luck on your season!

    Just did mine today! Thankyou for the insight this video provided on what to expect!! 11months post Acl reconstruction surgery but I still managed 12:35👊🏻

    I can't get running the test out of my head. Good to see your pacing so I can avoid blowing out my knees this season

    Thanks for this as ive been a contractor firefighter for years and wasn't sure if id be able to or even be good enough for the red shirt. But seeing this makes it a bit easier knowing what im about to get into now its just the boot camp im nervous about

    Just finished this test yesterday for my first time... my soul left my body. I trained for 3 months for it and I can honestly say that although it may have helped to be physically fit, it definitely did not make this any easier by any means. I got 15.48... so I guess next year I’ll have to try and beat that. My body is broken today 😂

    Was 37 out of shape with my first attempt pulled my calf muscle on the 17 lap but I completed it wasn’t the best time but I got hired haha

      I’m going Tuesday night and although I run daily- my upper body strength is crap.... kinda nervous. Any advice?

      Keep up the workouts, 45 seconds- 1 minute rest between sets and keep up cardio. Pack walks help a ton as well
