I grew up watching "Thundercats" back in the 1980s and as much as I like the fact that legendary actor Frank Langella is playing Jaga, having Johnny Depp (his last name is misspelled in the video) playing Mumm-Ra is just wrong in my honest opinion. Frank Langella would've made a better Mumm-Ra and if they had him playing Mumm-Ra instead of Jaga, I'd suggest having Patrick Stewart playing Jaga. He would've been a good fit, but what's done is done. Besides, I have the complete animated series on DVD and there are some characters in this movie that I don't remember being in the cartoon series. Also, the character that Dwayne Johnson is playing is named Slime, not Slythe. That I do remember. Plus, the twins were just kids when the Thundercats landed on Third Earth. I'm surprised they didn't include the lady cop who joined I think in the final season. I didn't get to see the final season. Since I have the complete animated series, I'm going to watch it to catch up.
