What makes Ragna such a fun character is that in any other game he would be the edgiest edgelord ever to edge, but because this is BlazBlue, he's constantly subjected to an endless parade of nonsense so he ends up being the perfect straight man for the rest of the cast.
To be fair, he really isn't _that_ edgy. It's more like he's given a lotta hell by other people in the cast (mostly Rachel, Luna, Kokonoe, Jin, and of course Terumi) that understandably piss him off or screws him over. He's a relatively chill guy, going off of scenes like his talk with Litchi in either her story mode from CT or CS and in both his and Tao's story modes in both games.
@@CSwizzleDizzleNah, it's not just the characters that make him so on edge. Of course, him having to deal with everyone else shitting on him would very much impact his behavior, but it was ultimately not the deciding factor for his overall personality, even because Ragna himself isn't the kind of person to let his own life be dictated by what others think of him, as he's very much aware of it all (cept maybe Rachel, cause I feel like deep down he knows she's just a very, very big tsundere).

He’s not a turbo virgin, most of the blazblue cast is directly related to him, a child, looks like a child, or wants to kill him. Seems like good reasons to stay away from them tbh
You know it would be funny to think that initially the main reason why he was terrorist was in large part thanks to Jin. Like ragna was perfectly fine just chilling and living his life but then Jin used the NOL to try and capture ragna so they can kill each other. But because Ragna isn’t about that so he defends himself. Eventually due to the amount of NOL agents being killed by Ragna they put a bounty on his head which cause bounty hunters trying to kill him. Eventually lead to ragna causing going as far a destroying NOL bases just to get them to leave him alone for just a little bit longer.
i just bought central fiction now blazblue is my current fixation and people told me the lore is confusing and so on. and then I see the previous games have english dubbing and I can’t take it seriously its hilarious

rachel has always helping ragna get some bitches with the spectacle of eros. too bad hes a turbo virgin
5:45 i just love how ragna got so close to her and just stared daggers at her its funny for some reason
In all fairness to him, had i met somebody that joined a unit with butt-floss for a uniform I'd have to get closer to just stare at them in disbelief as well 😅
He’s not a turbo virgin, most of the blazblue cast is directly related to him, a child, looks like a child, or wants to kill him. Seems like good reasons to stay away from them tbh
Yeah and most of the women that don’t fall into this category are already taken.
@@shougozero259I mean celica exists….
@@cqstlupin6074 She is his foster mother tho.
If only they would re-release the entire series on PS4/PS5, the story is wild
Or bring them to game pass as well
@@firefly56embers33 PLEASE GOD
I WANT TO EXPERIENCE THIS SERIES IN IN FULL MYSELF
@My2Cents.iF7934 same here, man. I want them to bring the whole blazblue series to Xbox
Didn't they did? All the blazblue game were in Xbox until central fiction then cross tag battle was in.
@@greninjaartistsenpaihe says on ps4/5
Don't worry Ragna. I will protect you.
God Patrick sounds like he's having the time of his life voicing Ragna.
Now introducing: BlazBlue Abridged.
Ragna: “…I’ve…had enough..of just about everything…”
Also Ragna: I’m ending BlazBlue by erasing myself and come back in Cross Tag Battle.
Guilty Gear: Everybody is metall as fuck and pretty much peak.
BlazBlue: Everybody is 10 levels of fucked up
The funniest fighting game
1:45 "Kirby noises"
Good lord it took me a moment yo figure out patrick seitz was ragna.
This man will never get a normal day off
I miss Blazblue man, Entropy Effect just doesn't cut it
Isn't entropy effect is a fan game?
This was a perfect way to get into Blazblue
0:33 IS THAT THE GREAM REAMER?
(Yosuke meme reference)
You know, I never knew that the characters in BlazBlue were this unhinged
I just can’t stop thinking about the fact he sounds so much English dub Franky
Well you see, that's because he is lol
Patrick Seltz will always be king. He loves doing Ragna's voice.
i just bought central fiction now blazblue is my current fixation and people told me the lore is confusing and so on.
and then I see the previous games have english dubbing and I can’t take it seriously its hilarious
Central fiction don't having sub was the biggest crine
dub*
Honestly I could watch an entire 2 season anime of blazblue gag reels.
Sanae Kochiya: "Don't allow yourself to be trapped by common sense"
Ragna: "...ugh... another crossover -.-?"
Oddly enough, Sanae and Hazama treated same by communities.
Oh, and they also has the same hair color and on some ocassions the same eye color.
@@Happy_Sailor639Yep. Green haired weirdoes will inherit the world!
still have skill issue in fighting games but this is my longest played character
I can see why Handler Walter acts the way he does now. Same VA BTW.
Ragna's Bizarre Adventures
We were given some of the most peak gag bits in fighting games and we could not have it in Guilty Gear, shame. These newbloods would’ve adored it
I absolutely love Ragna! He seems like an edgelord, in reality, he's just a dude minding his business, & fed up with the craziness of BlazBlue.
The fact that he's at the point of making fun of these scenarios & sometimes playing along, it just adds more humor & charm.
I miss Blazblue so much, thanks this gave me a good laugh with my NIISANNNN!!!
Mans whole life is suffering...
Everyone in the BlazBlue Universe is unhinged af and its funny af xD
Especially the encounter with bullet, bullet is cute uwu
kagura has been found
peek BlazBlue content right here

...no.
Please God don't tell me this is what I think this is.
Please tell me this isn't what it looks like.
I'm begging you.
It is exactly what it looks like.
Ragna seems perplexed alot
He’s basically the only sane character in the entire series so of course he’d be confused af.
The plot in its own right will put you in his shoes but the universe is still interesting
Blazblue is such a gem.
Ragna family problems and eternal suffering ahoy
3:07 3:45 6:11
When I open the door and see those interactions and slowly close the door infront of Ragna
Me: "I'll pray for your survival Ragna"
Jin please chill the fuck out 1:43
Patrick Seitz is such a talented VA even despite the fact he was in on getting Vic fired like an asshole.
Wait what
As someone who likes Vic's roles. He had it coming

Blazblue is that good boyo. Unless you play TAG.

I didn't know BlazBlue was so goofy 💀
I'm not even surprised that Ragna is most sane here.
We got Jin, Makoto, Tsubaki who all look different, but work in the NOL all, and their captain is freaking smooth criminal Hazama! Also Hazama himself is possed by a litteral god that wants to destroy everything.
Not to mention that Ragna himself is on good terms some vampire kid, and a hooded cat tribe.
BB is insane.
4:51 YES, ASS!
I'm sorry, uh, but I have no idea what's going on here.
i wanna die this is too funny
Come back Ragna I want to see you suffer more
Carl saying that causes everyone's suffering
I never played any blazblue games except central fiction (and cross tag) so this is
A lot
3:56 describe Ragna in his entirety, in one sentence
"Im the main character!" Said the main character
He catches so much shit, but then they have the nerve to act like they miss him for the last 10secs they could remember him after doing them a favor and cosmically fucking off. Goddamn, dude couldn't catch a break till the end lol
This is just not true lol.
@@scrungle6521 lol, you know it is
@@ashemabahumat4173 He spends a large part of the gag reels being the butt of the joke, yes, but in the actual story so much of his development comes from the people who genuinely treat him as a friend, and so so many of them start out at odds with him in some way, but end up becoming close. People miss him in the end because so much of his arc is defying his status as the grim reaper, showing people that he's really not a bad person. He has close friends for over half of the story mode, I really don't know where you got your idea from.
@@scrungle6521 then you realize that by design, all the gag reels are canon and there's way more of them than realities where he's actually respected lol

I just love Ragna sooo fucking much both JP & EN voice actors are PERFECT. Sad we didn’t get CF dubbed
