Ive seen so many other videos about how to uninstall it completely. Something always went wrong, would have to go on a huge tangent trying to correct one administrative thing after the other. The last thing you showed was so simple and worked right away. Now I don’t have to uninstall it every time and lose my bookmarks. Gonna come back to this video every time my Chrome crashes and won’t open. Which is basically monthly… most simple and fast fix for this issue I’ve ever seen. Thank you.

I didnt do it the same exact way but this definitely helped. For me after i went into chrome file location there was another exe file that said new_chrome.exe i clicked that then it started working. Thanks.

Guys the reason of the problem is that it pops up on a different window/monitor so if you have one monitor try to move your mouse to the right of your monitor and pull it out of the other window. I just figured it out. You don't have to delete your default folder.👌👍💯 OH and change your settings so it only opens in one monitor.
none of these videos worked for me, after i tried to do the third method, three other applications on my desk top now have the similar effect of not working when i try to open them. can anyone help me please

i didn't see this option. another video said about changing the name to google1. Now i cant click on it. it says the file was moved or changed, and can't change it back. i can't do short cut. cant do number 2 either. i guess because of it was changed to google1.
The method I used was I right clicked chrome hit properties, opened file location, and then right clicked chrome hit rename, name it to chrome1.exe and then saved it, right clicked it again pressed send to desktop and the deleted the other chrome and it worked

none worked :( I've been having issues with steam, origin, chrome and epic games nothing has worked since march 2019. been very annoying ive even changed all of my PC parts incase it was a hardware issue.
