I agree with you about Japanese, Turkish, French, Danish, Greek and Norwegian (I think this is the highest place for Selma I've seen so far). It's sad to see EU Spanish so low. I completely understand and partly think the same way about Swedish, but I have always had a soft spot for her. No matter what some people might say, Emma is Belle for me and her "HDAMLF-reprise" is my favorite. Your top 10 is beyond amazing. Thanks for Finnish, I have learned to love her unique sound as well, and I like her speaking parts too. I still haven't made up my mind about Flemish, though - I guess I have love-hate-relationship with her. Selma isn't the perfect Belle, but I definitely don't believe she deserves the low placements she's gotten. I definitely regretted putting Bely so low after I found her on Spotify and absolutely loved her singing - she wouldn't have moved up that much, as I still enjoy others more, but I would've appreciated her rendition more 😔 I love Emma so much, I felt the need to full on defend her haha. How do you see this Belle different from the original? 😊 Nina Kraljic reminds me of Mia too! and about Emmylou, I agree with your placement & the comment for her was so lovely! I absolutely adore her Anna, but she doesn't feel right for Belle - Anna's kindness is very different to Belle's kindness, hard to explain 😅 and also totally agree about Alžbeta, as golden as her voice & performance are - if I hadn't known it's The Alžbeta, she'd go unnoticed. Your comment on Emma was truly so special! many say her singing is horrible and the autotune ruined everything, but I'd rather hear herself sing than the most professional singer to voiceover, especially how it's a live action. Vesela... I'm not one of her fans, but this is the first time I'm hearing her Belle 2017 and it's probably her best role. It's like a present within the present 😂 I actually liked the live-action quite a bit, though I prefer the original anytime! 😊 I feel like Belle voices in the original movie could have an older and more operatic sound to them, that makes them sound "vintage", and it would go unnoticed because it goes with the movie. But those type of voices in a live action just feel out of place :) - hope that makes sense haha Ah, I knew I wasn't the only one about Mia and Nina sounding alike! As for Emmylou, I really love her as a voice actress, so placing her this low hurt a little and I felt I had to "lay her down softly" 😅 Thanks! But what I can say for sure now is that the ones that stood out the most for me are Melissa, Bely, Emma and Sylwia (my favourite polish voice). The latter could start badmouthing my cats and I'd feel like bathing in a honey&milk river anyway. 😬 As for the rest, I can totally endorse Meirenyu's opinion (the truth about Vesela has been spoken 👀), but we'll see...
