- Ronda Rousey is the best female fighter in the world. Growing up in Riverside California her mom taught her judo especially the Arm Bar which is her favorite move to finish fights. Ronda fought in the Olympics in 2008 winning a bronze medal. Ronda is undefeated in her career at 11-0 knocking off fighters such as Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano. I miss Ronda, love her or hate her you can't deny she brings a big fight feel anytime she's in the octagon. It was fun as Hell watching her armbar girls in 30 seconds, too bad those days are probably over.

Even Anderson Silva and Jon jones didnt look good in their last fights. And they were 2 of the best fighters that ever lived in my opinion. shit happnes.

Facts, Rousey went into the holm fight with a bad game plan. Then lost to an even better fighter than Holly is - Nunes. If Rousey came back she'd 100% be top 3 still. Zingano is currently top 3 and Rousey already beat her in seconds. Liz Carmouche is currently ranked #2 and Sarah Kauffman is currently ranked #5 at bantamweight. Rousey destroyed all of those ladies with ease and they're all still top 5 as of June 19, 2019!

Tea Time: Rousey went into the Holm fight with a bad game plan, even though she lost she can, without a doubt, beat Holm using her Olympic level Judo. The hype was real, she is real, and yes she is an amazing mixed martial artists as well as a 6th Degree Black Belt Judoka. A black belt is difficult enough to obtain, but 6th degree?! Yeah she's a beast!

To end it, maybe the hype was a bit much, but it went to those levels because she was the pioneer of WMMA in the UFC. And... Don't bring up Carano as being the pioneer, she was pretty which is why she garnered attention from Showtime and ESPN. Her talent was not on Rousey's level. Rousey actually took a fight that Carano backed down from. And... Don't forget Carano quit after losing one fight. Yup, just one.
Ronda, is truly a phenomenal talent despite her 2 losses, bad standup, and bad reputation. Facts are facts. Your opinions do not matter folks.

Whatever man, I think what people don't understand about Rhonda Rousey is why she's been so dominant, but from watching her fights, it looks like she just flat out has more strength in her core body muscles than anyone she's fought. I think she has a lot of natural strength in her abs and hips, plus she knows how to throw a punch, and she knows how to grapple. She just overpowers her opponents, period. She just seems like a naturally physical person, like she really enjoys the physicality of fighting someone. We've seen what a talented submission artist she is when fighting someone with whom she has no personal grudge, but when she fought Correia, she was pissed. She basically said, "Fuck a submission, I am going to punch this woman in the head until she falls down." And that's pretty much what happened over the next 30 seconds.

A one trick pony fighting against nobodies. The pool of talent in women's Bantamweight is shallow. Imagine someone showed up in the men's division and all they could do were arm bars and judo sweeps. They wouldn't get very far. Ronda was soundly beaten the first time she faced some actual competition. I suspect Amanda will beat her too. Of course I could be wrong, Amanda could fall for that arm bar...
Sam Smith That 1 trick pony shit is more predictable in striking. I dont know if you do jiu jitsu but some of the best in the world have only a small handfull of subs that they just fine tune and use it on everybody. Sometimes its only one. The thing that makes it different is that in grappling you can set that move up from a huge variety of different positions and that is what makes it so hard to predict or see coming.
