- Over the past 14 years #BLRAirport has hit many milestones, launched new routes, welcomed millions of passengers and transformed into an iconic destination. We’re adding another historic moment to our story with the inauguration of Terminal 2, a terminal dedicated to the city of #Bengaluru and to the people of this nation.
Here’s a film that captures the elements of architecture, landscaping and art that make Terminal 2 a destination like never before.
Terminal 2 will soon be open for travellers to go on a journey of surprises.

I am so proud that I interned on this project in 2021, and the experience was Fabulously Amazing. I will fall short of words to describe "How beautiful this terminal looks!". The T2 experience will be Enthralling! 😍 This Terminal is a clear example of Sustainability and the Green Revolution. Kudos to BIAL, L&T, SOM, Turner, and other Teams to gift one of the best airports in the World to this Country. 💚

Since 2019 I was commenting uploaded T-2 animated video on this channel and now finally it's completed ❤️
Still lot of work is pending. I hope they complete what they shown in animated video.

@@akshaysuriya6784 garden outside, huge fish tanks around departures and birds inside terminal plus they still need to upgrade first runway into cat 3 it’s still cat 1. If you check the animated video you can figure it out.

Damn! This is how the development should be done. Not the old fashioned way but some new and innovative futuristic ideas combined with art and culture.
Hi, We are a couple from Bangalore who love to take long drives during the weekends to this airport. We have been dating since 2014 and got married in 2016. Since we started dating, we have taken ~300 drives to this airport and have had ~50 date nights around the nearby kiosks 😀😀. Call us crazy, but as hardcore traveloholics, this is our happiest place in Bangalore.
We have witnessed T2 getting built on every weekend drive since the last 3 years and It gives us so much joy to see it complete today. It feels like getting that BTech degree after a 4 year wait (We are from BLR, its obvious that we were gonna make an Engineering PJ 😛😛)
We quit our jobs and transitioned into becoming travel content creators a few months back and we feel so happy that we will be operating out of this baby, whose growth we have witnessed ever since we have been together.

Some of the features of the building look like it's in the backyard of a village in Karnataka. I think the designers and the architects have taken the 'local is global' concept seriously. An airport can have the latest tech while also having a design that is everything local. Thanks for the engineers and architects who conceived and built this superbly designed terminal!

While flying throughout the years have always felt that the previous terminal was one of the best in India, can't wait to travel from this one. Does anyone have any information, which airlines is operating from here ? Will travel to Bangalore just experience this terminal and will make a video for all you guys too 🙂
Spicejet and Vistara will fly for now . In future they will move entire international operations to new one .

Was expecting better video. Still lot of work seems to be pending on terminal specially main garden outside and birds which was shown in the videos before. But still this will be one of the best airports in the world.

@@ManishGupta-jv6ll it’s 13000 cr project almost it’s kind of new airport with new tunnels and elevated roads directly to terminal 2. I’m a Bangalorean and I’m frequently travelling and I’m following Mr. Hari marar CEO of BIAL. He has promised many things in interviews. Since then I’m just waiting to see this grand new airport.
True . People don't realise grandness of this project. Its not just a terminal but an entire new airport costing 1.7 billion USD . Phase two will start soon and they will add an terminal 3 after 2026 costing a few million dollars more . Once all is done this will be the best airport in the world.
I live overseas and travel frequently , I can confirm that it's far superior to any western airport and in the direct league of Singapore and Beijing.

Terminal 2 Phase 2 construction starts next year... It will add 2cr more passengers... So international terminal alone can accomodate 4.5cr passengers annually
