Gotta look at the head code. RBB is the 3 lobe head (same as K24a2.) The accord (RAA) and crv (PPA) spec JDM motors are still K24A as well but not true Vtec. The pistons and rods will match the head code.
My 00 EK Dx coupe k24a2 completely stock just intake, 3inch Tanaka exhaust with vibrant ultra quiet resonator and 12inch 1320 resonator made 226/184 on 93. Perfect street car could never go back to B series for NA

Pumped to scoop a rail and injectors for my K24 build this winter! Awesome to find a quality local Honda tuner. If you do Flashpro tuning, I’ll plan on bringing my 8th gen up there once the motor is in.
Drill extra holes in your thermostat on the k integra it won’t over heat afterwards. You can thank me later. K swaps sometimes have that problem you just drill another hole beside the existing one with the metal piece through it
Yea they run dry for only a short while and then the car shuts off and dies. If the pump can’t survive that small amount of dry time I wouldn’t want to continue using it anyway haha

Almost dyno ready on my ek hatch k24 turbo stock 06' motor w/ headstuds + 4P pump, 05-06 rsx 5speed, big boostlab BL67R t4 .96ar on infinity/flex fuel looking forward to a breezy 500's low boost on E. And once built css o-ringed motor is together shooting for 800-900s
Take the power loss and always run a intake filter unless you don't mind sandpapering your cylinder walls and eventually using a quart of oil every couple hundred miles.

I love the data and have bunch of piping/filters around that I would donate for testing purposes. Ppl have to realize in this case that air tube/filter made 10-11hp at the Wheel difference, that's huge on a 4cyl.
That actually happened when I got mine tuned the pump gave me junk E 50 but didn't test it until after the dyno. The tuner says to me yeah when the ethanol content is up you should mix in a splash of 93 to compensate lol I was like uhh nah I think we put it back on
Would have been nice to run the intake pipe without the filter. Maybe just have a really dirty filter. It's surprising to make better power without any piping on the throttle body.

Currently building a EK myself. I’m doing K24 with a EP3 transmission this video helped me with the explanation with the vtc stuff
The turbo integra k24made 524 on 16 lbs boost, the pikachu with a b motor made 530 on 29 lbs boost. That is quite a jump in efficiency.

For the intake get a 6 or 7 inch velocity stack attached to the intake tube with a turbo guard filter
I believe the difference from the K24A & the K24A2 is if there is no number after the last letter it’s JDM! K24A/JDM & K24A2 /USDM

Correct and the JDM Ks have a few variants just like the US ones. Valve sizing and amount of cam lobes are the main differences.

k24a in the basic 2.4 from an accord with a lower compression block. k24a2 is from the higher compression tsx

Always use caution ⚠️ draining a tank with a in take fuel pump. Running the fuel pump dry can damage the pumps impeller internals fairly quickly.
