I could never get tired seeing these old clips of Meshell and this band..as well as the band she had before this! They had to be 2 of the most badass bands ever put together!
Dyson needs to be spoken of as a master bassist, no questions asked!!!!!

Saw her some years back in Seattle with the great Gene Lake on drums. One of the best shows I've seen, the band killed it!
I know a few versions of this tune and it always amazes me how responsive and creative this band plays and modifies the tracks. To some previous poster: yeah Chris Dave is great, but damn so is Gene Lake. Frederico Pena on keys is just an outstanding Funk/JAzz player...they are all great and i wished She had kept this band rolling longer....
Me'Shell is such a great musician. This tune is just simply badass. Dave Dyson, Gene Lake & company couldn't be tighter. Does the soul good! Thanks to the musicians. Hope this video's helped you sell records. :)

Oh my god, This is da shit! This band is superthight. Love the keyboard solo's. When it comes to funk/fusion is doesn't get much better than this. Actually hope this concert is available as a high res download or for sale on DVD.
