Here's the result of the fact that the developers removed the ability to grab survivors from the hook - survivors just started to get arrogant, without putting the killer in anything.
3 gens, 1 dead, 9 hooks, all survivors in one place with the killer. It's not being brazen, it's just switching off your brain and playing like a bot 'cause there's no point prolonging a lost game.

No that not the reason trickster isn't even strong and extremely easy to encounter most survivors will complain about trickster being to strong and op but don't know how to loop him properly and will unhook trickster in front of his face giving him multiple downs gaining more pressures onto survivors
There are killers that are strong in chase, killers that are strong in camping hooks, ones that are evenly balanced between the two, and ones that are just gods at both. Trickster sadly falls into the good at camping. Good ones who care about winning will always hover near the hook and force pressure that way. It's just an unfortunate circumstance to his design.
The way to outplay trickster is to not be caught out of position, he has a 40m lullaby, he is NOT strong. Survivors who cant play well against him lack the skill and game sense to keep themselves out of bad situations, they dont anticipate.

Even sometime trickster can't kill anyone in a match but just heard the knife noise without any wall to play around as survival is also kinda annoy.
