      Welcome to Germany, i live in Ingolstadt and Frankfurt is really a big city. you have various options available, so no need to worry. Google Nachhilfe 'Frankfurt' you will find the options. since your kid is very small, learning the language in school should be more than sufficient. Have a nice time in Germany

    Thank you for this video. I'm just confused between gesamtschule and gymnasium. I applied for registration in gesamtschule for my son. The teaching system is same in gesamtschule as in gymnasium? Gesamtschule is the right choice or not.

    • @VanakkamGermany
      @VanakkamGermany  2 года назад

      Gesamtschule is also a good option.
      The central idea of the integrated Gesamtschule is to overcome social barriers by teaching all pupils together. That can be done in subjects that do not differ too much between the three traditional types of school

    Germany is social welfare state. It is not for Indians who already earn well in India and lead a good quality life already there. In Germany, getting a simple doctors appointment is a big task that too paying a bomb for medical insurance every month, kindergarten admission is also a hell of a task, house rents are very high in main cities(again if you are coming from low to average income in India that’s fine.. you will love it here seeing first time beautiful houses, posh cars, roads etc.), houses to buy are crazy expensive already in most cities. There are some bright points too but that’s based on expectations 😉

      If you are planning to move back for kids education. It’s better to put them in international school. Once move to India, initial days are little hard for them. Later kids will pick it up

    Most people think Germany has a good school system but it's actually one of the worst as to mental health for the students and as to as I likee to call it sheep making, I'm a Croat and went to school in Croatia (Pretty much was never in school) now I live in Germany and most people I meet here do have some academic knowledge but are really bad in life knowledge (for example most Germans that are my age don't even know how to make scrambled eggs) The education system here in Germany makes your head explode and all of the things they teach I have learnt alone by myself ... They basically teach you to not ask questions and to study for tests but not to think for yourself, like almost the whole rest of the world (albeit some exceptions like Finland who we all should look at and say that works we need more of that)
