You should have given back to the auto guy the taste of his own medicine by saying "aadre yella auto drivers bolimakkale" no bedha-bhava here....almost 99.9% of these auto drivers are genuine assholes irrespective of their age.

Good to see atleast some one is following traffic rules in bangalore...I lost my job due to accident along with two major surgeries just because the car driver behind me was on phone .....😕

got run over by a truck at a police checkpost , because the truck driver was transporting illegal goods / drugs etc.... then as i try to walk away from the wreck , driver didn't like that for some reason , reversed his truck and ran me over again second time ...
whenever i see trees along the streets I instantly recognize it to be either jayanagar or basavangudi . these are the only two areas retaining trees which is the only respite for pedestrians in this heat

What I noticed at the first view: I have experienced absolutely similar situations at the same spots, including being friendly greeted by auto drivers ;-).
E.g. the junction where the auto driver came in (even a miracle he did, usually they simply go there straight on the wrong side), I have almost every times same experience, means any people overtake and come there in. Or that spot in front of Spar on Bannerghatta Road, always same - there are people pressing in from Spar side, and on the lane towards Dairy Circle the ones in front of you change the lane without ever having a look in the mirror. And so on. Watching your video is like having a thousand-times-deja-vue ;-)
Personally I deal with that experience very fine, means meanwhile I know these spots and expect that this will happen at 90% probability so I simply apply brake (or be the bad guy and do the contrary ;-) in advance ;-) Generally I love 99% of the traffic experience in Bengaluru, I bet there is no other place on that planet where you can make such experiences ... ;-)))
I never thought deeper about the whats and whys and maybe I am totally wrong, but watching your video and comparing it with my own same experiences at exactly the same spots but just with different drivers I feel, if such spots could be technically anyhow changed, such situations would not even arise.
Means I do not want to excuse these drivers at all, of course they did not follow the rules or behaved stupid, even risking their own health and life, and I do not want to blame our Bengaluru road development experts or the traffic police or who ever is in charge to design our wonderful traffic here, but if such scenes happen always at the same spots, and I experience that almost every times when I myself pass there, I see some good probability that the location itself or the way as it is designed kind of influences the probability that people do there at these spots always the same nonsense ... ;-)
Its not about proving others wrong. Its about creating awareness.

Just happens when ever I stop at traffic lights if there's a red light no matter whatever the time may be night or day yellow board people taxi's and tuk tuks and even white boards always jump the light when it's my turn to go they almost collide with me when I start to confront them they swear at me using profanity and calling names and stuff one day I lost my cool started fighting back but it's of no use for those who are honest who is lawful following the laws
What are you doing. Auto driver are the real hero. They can do whatever they want. Rest all be silent.. I faced 3 times same thing.. when I tried to understand them they used slang language.+ Guide me wrong traffic rules. When I reached to traffic police. They asking about video proof what a pathetic situation.

Nobody checks the mirrors in Bangalore ! worst driving sense and some of them are just common thing.
And coming to the speeding vehicles police catch them in locations where it doesn't make sense, I am not saying it's not right but stop them in places where it matters first. I have seen close minor accidents where police tried to stop vehicles near Singasandra and ORR. It is regularity these days to see SUV'S driving recklessly in school areas. I feel reckless driving is more scary then few folks driving in controlled speeds.

Everything is good but why are you always tailgating so close? I know we can't reach our destination if we leave too much space infront but seemed like you are a bit too close to the vehicles infront of you.
What is it with SUVs and reckless driving. Another thing I noticed is them parking right in front of the shop they want to shop/eat, where's the our community feeling? Only tighter laws can bring some discipline unfortunately since ppl have long stopped caring for others.

its a crime to follow traffic rules. Go to BTM Layout, the lake road, udupi garden and nearby places. you wil see cars and bikes parked on footpaths, bikes riding on footpaths and if you question them then they abuse you. A number of times tried uploading the pics to the banglore police fb page and using app [ that was around 2 yrs ago] but most of the time, they say the number plate is not clear, even though the pic looks clear enough. I had stopped doing this preaching. Why increase my bp? let them pay the price for their own mistake. Still wonder why not have CCTV [ some high ended] to automatically charge you for doing all rubbish. Lane discipline, crossing roads, taking u-turns... these should be part of school curriculm to make them understand how bad it is for fellow motorists and citizens.
Same old horrible unsafe rude driving. Do you think they'll ever improve?

Roads are too narrow, vehicles are too much.. These videos are too wierd, because what's the use of this?? Try sending this video to a Traffic police department, what do you expect is gonna happen.. nothing..!! Roads aren't in safe conditions, humps everywhere, Potholes everywhere, every other day busy streets will be dug for repair!! Everyday I travel to office and come back and thank God for saving me from an accident... just a fresh tar was put in silkboard- belandur service roads, within 3 months its state is worst...!! whom to blame..?? Tax paying Citizen had no life in India!! Try raising a voice, will only get criticism and shouting..
