I remember getting a x360 just for Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia, and Eternal Sonata. The machine rrod'ed after I finished the first two. Got to finish the other two later on other consoles. (and ToV on steamdeck)
After playing it years ago and never finishing I’m glad to say I played through and beat it about a week ago! You should definitely check out Infinite Undiscovery next.

@@BltzZ Oh! When I checked a few years back my laptop couldn't even run the xbox 360 emulator. It has a Nividia 940MX graphics card. But I really appreciate you taking the time to ask and help me out
This is a start blitz, get the word out. Support the hell out of this game and bring it into the youtube space and maybe just maybe, someone from the developers side will see your videos and consider a modern port. It is criminal that this game and blue dragon are locked on the xbox 360.

Another awesome game, well, 2 games, is Alice: Madness Returns for Xbox 360/Playstation 3, and it includes the first game, American McGee's Alice, as free DLC. Both games run flawlessly in Xenia; the first game runs 60fps, but the second game needs a patch to do 60fps.
Very solid. unfortunately the ROV trick for line 216 did not work for me as soon as I got to the first cutscene when you get off the train the shadow issue was still there this definitely helped me narrow down my audio issue though lol(I had an insane buzzing noise prior to these instructions)
with rtx 3070 and 7800x3d I get 60 fps with draw distance set to 2. when I set it to 3 I get 40ish fps. Seems like xenia state is good. I remember this game was impossible to play 2-3 years ago.

I'm using ROV but still getting the weird shadow artifacts. Any idea why? Using 7900x3d/4080 super Edit: I mistakenly changed the xenia defaults, not the Lost Odyssey config. Will update is still having issues.
I did the same when I was initially setting it up as well. This new Manager is awesome because you can make individual game changes. Which previously without the manager you had to have individual folders of Xenia per each game.
I've been playing for 5 hours now or so and no mayor problems what's so ever I think once the audio cut out from a random encounter And sometimes you hear some artifact
I read the dungeon DLC is stale but the other DLCs are worth it. You could install it from the manager if you found the DLC source files from a reliable source
I think some game lose there immersion when playing on 4K 60fps especially old games. Just looking at this game don’t like its graphics. OG all the way.
Unfortunately I do not think so. It usually has a whole another process to working on handhelds. I heard Xenia works great on it but setting it up might require more troubleshooting
I was hoping with Sakaguchi bringing fantasian to Steam and consoles he would considering porting this too eventually. but he said he has no plans as of right now. I hope that changes
It's done by the Father of Final Fantasy and most would argue this is the true Final Fantasy XIII compared to what we did get from Square Enix. you should actually play the game before calling it mid it's heavily favored for a great reason.
@@radagonsoreseal3457 I should say the same for FF12 as that game is heavily favored for a great reason. Also can you say the same for Death Stranding? A game made by Kojima the creator of Metal Gear games? I think not because Metal Gear series will always be better than Death Stranding series. So Lost Odyssey is still mid compare to a long lasting series like Final Fantasy.

Oof. I looked forward to Blue Dragon. It was marketed so well but once it released, it was probably the most repetitious game of its time.

Try RTV and see if that runs better for you instead

Is Lost Odyssey now fully playable? No crashes with the last boss fight on disc 1 en the train scene on disc 3? Or audio issues?
Any fixes for shadows flickering and audio delay on SteamDeck? Putting Rov on Deck makes a game a mess of colors and lights

The notepad file should affect all the discs because it tracks their ID so you should be fine! Enjoy
Ah okay thanks for answering but you still have to add the shaders to the other disc right
@@hugogieles4816 check the top of the notepad it should by default say discs 1-4 and this would technically apply it to them when detected.

I thought it was two specific sections of the game that crashed. I would be ecstatic to learn I'm wrong
